Cranberry Martini
To my personal taste, this was more like a 2.5 as written, but I realize a lot of people probably like stronger drinks than I do. After following the recipe the 1st go-round, I modified using cran-apple juice instead of cranberry & sweet vermouth instead of dry in the proportions and only about half the vodka called for. Stayed with the called-for amount of triple sec . If you like a sweeter drink, you may enjoy this version.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken
Very good - maybe a tad salty. Doubled sauce for 8-5oz. boneless, skinless breasts; 1.5 times original recipe would probably have been enough. Poured sauce over chicken, baked covered 30 minutes, turned chicken, baked uncovered 15 minutes longer. Excellent w/brown rice & parmesan-garlic broccoli.

Banana Sour Cream Bread
Best banana bread I've ever made! Loved the texture. Used 2 c. white sugar & 1 c. light brown sugar. Substituted mini chocolate chips for nuts due to allergies. I only had regular-sized loaf pans, so I adjusted oven temp to 325° and watched closely toward end of cooking time. Perfectly browned but not quite done at 1 hr; covered lightly with foil and baked an additional 7 minutes. Made 3 regular loaves & 6 muffins.
