Spinach Muenster Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
I made this recipe this morning and used the Neufchatel cheese and sliced the Muenster cheese (I won't do that again!). It was good for a change of breakfast food. It had a tange that I didn't expect. I will fix this again and maybe add onions and mushrooms next time. I will add the meufchatel again, and buy the sliced Muenster instead of the brick. Thanes for sharing! LindaK

Chicken Tetrazzini IV

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
I used what I had on hand and that was milk and turkey. There was not a lot of sauce. With the leftovers I made more white sauce and add more garlic and pepper. I will give this dish a second chance.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
I have made this recipe 3 times now and have not failed once! I have tried the ice water method and it did not work for me. Getting the shortning or butter cold does for me. I have been married for 40 years and this has been the only pie crust recipe that works for me. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Zucchini Frittata

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
This is a great recipe! It is also the first and only frittat recipe I have NOT scorched or burned on the bottom! It was so easy to make and the adding of other ingredients like mushrooms, black olives, chopped chilies etc.is unlimited. I also like the tip: being able to travel as a light breakfast or snack on long trips. We are only 2 hours away from our granddaughters, and sometimes need to leave in the early morning hours to babysit. This will be better than chicken bicuits from a fast food drive thru! Thank You Carol for the recipe and the tip! LindaK

I have wondered if sweet potatoes could be used in this salad. Well,I wonder no more. It was great! My husband and I both love it. It will be on the table come Thanksgiving or sooner. This for us is a keeper. Linda K

Cheesy Brat Stew for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
I orginally got this recipe when we lived in Wisconsin and lost it in a move. My family loved it so much that there was never any leftovers! The only change that I make is to leave out the red bell pepper. It sooo good to have it back and enjoy it yet again. Especially this winter!! LindaK
