About Me
My family and I are embarking on a new adventure in our lives. My husband is now a truck driver (no more cattle ranch) and misses a lot of my cooking. It's hard to keep my meals on the small side since it is just me and my girl. Leftovers, anyone??
My favorite things to cook
I make a mean spaghetti sauce, before my husband met me he wouldn't eat spaghetti. The first time I made it for him he had 3 plates full! Now it's a favorite. There are now a couple meatball recipes from AR that I love. I never used to like meatballs. They are Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs and Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs. I highly recommend them.
My favorite family cooking traditions
No real traditions other than I don't usually do Thanksgiving dinner. For several years now, we have gone to church for their Thanksgiving dinner. Love seeing old friends that we haven't seen since the previous year at the same dinner!
My cooking triumphs
Anything that doesn't wind up burnt is a triumph in my book....
My cooking tragedies
One tragedy in the past year...I burnt some bacon in the oven and the smoke alarm went off. The house was FULL of smoke!!
