My favorite things to cook
I love trying new food. Lately I've been trying a lot of French recipes, with great success. I like rich, good ingredients to cook with. I like to make everything from scratch, with the exception of bread...have not attempted it yet, but I will.

Tourtière, ragoût, sucre à la crème,rhubarb pie, blueberry desserts, roasts(my family)

My cooking tragedies
The first couple of times I tried to make pie crust...Did not turn out at all.
The last time I attempted was a success, with 2 simple tips from my mother: use a pastry blender (well worth the $5) and follow the recipe on the back of the Tenderflake box. No sweat!
