About this Cook
I'm a single working girl with a live in boyfriend. Since I work so much and enjoy cooking so much I look for simple quick dishes to make. However I never want to sacrifice flavor. I love flavorful dishes!!(but then who doesn't) :)
My favorite things to cook
I really making a good grilled chicken with potato salad maybe some mac&cheese and green salad...YUM!! My other weekness is chicken tacos. I have to admit I make a killer chicken taco!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Potato salad and Collard Greens! We have them at every family gathering and I love them.
My cooking triumphs
Making a honey glazerd ham for thanksgiving one year. I am not a turkey fan and last minute I decided to make a honey glaze for the ham. My dad told me it was the best ham he's ever had in his whole entire life...that felt pretty good!
My cooking tragedies
No real trgedies so far. I try to make things I know I can make I also follow directions very soon as I have one I'll be sure to share!!

Broccoli with Lemon Butter Sauce
Well,I used the lemon sauce with baked chicken. It was a huge hit at my house. I poured it over the chicken as soon as I pulled it out of the oven and it was perfect.

Vegetable Soup I
This is a good recipe. I did add a few things. I added some zucchini, sweet potato, and white beans. I also added a couple dashes of worcestershire sauce. In the end my boyfriend said it was the best vegetable soup he has had in his whole life. So this one is a keeper!!!
