Russian Tea Cakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
I made these cookies to bring to a Christmas gathering. Wow, It was such a hit! Everybody loved them. I didn't change a thing in the recipe. The only thing I did that was different was to let the dough chill overnight in the fridge to let the flavors develope. A really great recipe, and a keeper for years to come.

Cream of Artichoke Soup II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
This soup was time consuming to make. what I did was to use a box of frozen artichoke hearts from birdseye. I added 1tbl. of olive oil with the butter. 2 cloves chopped garlic. You have to add enough salt and pepper, so I added 1tsp salt and1/2 tsp. pepper. At the end I poured it into a blender to puree. It came out creamy. I will not give this 5 stars as it was, but I will give it 5 stars as it came out my way.

Hot Dog Soup

Wow, what a good idea! It was great. I replaced the beans with a can of peas though and also a can of corn. we all loved it. It was more of a stoup, and very filling in these hard times.
