Balsamic Pea Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
Really good! Would make again. Added some more stuff: Doubled the amount of peas, added a bag of fresh spinach, shredded and chopped carrots, chopped cheddar cheese, fresh grated asiago cheese, a few cloves of minced garlic, dash of sugar and a bit more vinegar. (Didn't use feta or almonds cause I didn't have any- was great anyhow!)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Very good. I doubled the recipe and used about 1 1/2 cups heavy cream and rest 2% milk. It was very thick and creamy.. especially the leftovers. Also added dill, brocolli and some cheddar cheese to melt in. We all loved it and the neighbors loved it too.

Batter White Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
Really easy and good. I cooked it today and already there isn't much left. Only issue was that the top got really brown when there was still about 20 min. left of cooking time. I ended up loosely covering the top with foil so it wouldn't get any darker. I wonder if the oven temperature should be down to 350 instead. Did anyone else have that issue?? Otherwise. Good and I recommend.

Chicken Lo Mein

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
Really good and easy! I also tried it with thin sliced steak instead of chicken, beef broth instead of chicken broth (a full can), and chow mein noodles hold up a little better. Add water chestnuts, sliced carrots, broccoli, mushrooms and baby corn - YUM!!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2008
We loved this recipe. The flavor is great! I changed it a bit by marinading the meat in a dry rub overnight, then baked it in a pan with 1/2 cup water and covered with foil in a 325 degree oven for about 2 1/2 hours (or until tender). Then, slathered the ribs with the sause and baked another 20 minutes at 400. In addition, I added a extra tablespoon of whiskey and cut back a bit on the red pepper. YUM!!!
