Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
This had a very wholesome, full flavor. The bananas made it look a bit unattractive, but I'm sure that could be remedied with a crumble-top of sugar and butter. I made them vegan but using corn starch as a substitute. My family loved it, and it was healthy enough for my grandma and dad to eat.

Easy Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
I love recipes that are rock-bottom simple, and this was it! It was a bit greasy, but still came out nicely. I was glad that I didn't need too many ingredients. If you cut back on the oil, you don't even need to mix in the pan, but can roll it out.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
This made my entire apartment smell heavenly! It was pretty quick, and tasted good. It may have been my fault and not the recipe's but the dough was very dense. I skip any frosting because it would be way too sweet that way.

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
These don't come out perfectly for me everytime, but good enough that I use this recipe often. It's probably more my abilities as a baker than the recipe's fault. It's so satisfying to eat warm, homemade bread!

Cream Cheese Tart Shells

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
These are so easy, I make them over and over again! I use it as the crust for mini cheesecakes. My favorite thing to do that impresses many people and pleases many mouths is to fill with yogurt instead of custard and top with any fruit I have around.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
These are a huge hit whenever I bring them to parties. You just have to be really careful about the cheesecake cracking, or even once it came out watery for me. The waterbath is too much trouble and isn't worth it.

Pistachio Nut Cake II

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
There wasn't enough genuine pistachio flavor for me because I only used the pudding mix and no actual nuts in the cake. People are really surprised by the flavor choice, but pleasantly so. Extremely easy to make, and a great idea that I might apply to other cake mixes with different pudding flavors.

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
It wasn't the best crust, but passable. My dad said it was close to store-bought, but not yet there. If I had more time to take care to use a pizza stone or pan of water, the crust probably would have been of higher quality. At least this recipe was easy to follow.
