Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
This was great. I only marinaded the salmon for a few minutes, so I basted it with the mixture a couple times while baking. Wonderful flavor!

Broccoli with Rigatoni

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
Made this with slightly less olive oil, but just as listed for the rest. Very pleased with it. Simple and tasty and good as leftovers too.

Corn and Black Bean Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
Loved this! The dressing is delicious. I used a 15 oz can of corn instead of the 8.75 oz & added a diced avocado. I'll be making this again for sure.

Apple-Honey Dutch Baby

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
A very good recipe. I added 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Next time I will thinly slice the apples instead of dicing them because they took a little longer to cook than expected.

No Roll Pie Crust I

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
If you're really in a bind & need a quick crust or possibly a vegan crust, this recipe would get you by. But I'd suggest using a recipe which includes butter or shortening. This one was just very bland.

Lemonade Punch

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2010
Fabulous & SO EASY! I'll definitely remember to buy enough ingredients for a second batch the next time; we went through this fast because it was so tasty! Not too sweet either. Everyone loved it & many requested the recipe. I left out the maraschinos since I forgot to buy them, but they're not really a necessity.

Apricot Lemon Sole

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
We enjoyed the fish and the sauce, we just weren't sure that we liked them as a pairing. If I were to make this again, I would use the sauce very sparingly.

Almond Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
Simple, quick & delicious. If you don't want to make your own dressing, it's also wonderful with blush wine vinaigrette- we like Brianna's brand.

Muffin Frittatas

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
These were a great addition to our Easter brunch. The individual muffin portions made for easy serving. Just like tiny omelets, you could easily switch up the fillings for variety or use egg whites only. The leftovers kept well and were good when reheated. I'll definitely be making them again to keep in the fridge for a quick, protein packed breakfast option.

Carrot Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2010
Simple and delicious, this offers a lot of flavor and not a lot of fat. I made it just as instructed and it was wonderful. We eat a lot of rice, so this was a nice change and it's definitely a recipe I'll call on again.

Dawn's Easy Red Velvet Sandwich Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2010
Easy & tasty. I made a double batch of cookies & did not double the filling. I had enough filling for all but four sandwiches & those I filled with ice cream instead. A delicious alternative! As others have said, you could easily leave the bourbon out all together. I substituted Chambord & that worked out well too.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2007
I modified a little based on what I had on hand, but like any good recipe it served as a great base to spring off of. A nice break from our traditional chili and it was a great way to use my leftover chicken.
