Beef and Spaghetti Pie

Really didn't think I would care about this, but it was fabulous. I didn't have sour cream so I used yogurt. Very, very good! Made it in a large corelle square pan. Filled it right to the top and made great leftovers! Thanks for a great recipe. Yummy!

Three-Cheese Macaroni

The flavor is really good, but it was a bit dry. Will definitely make it again, but add more milk and cheese to make it creamier.... Very good base to jump off of and make it your own.

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
I am rating this as only 3 because the cake was so flat that I would have needed 3 or 4 of them to make a 4 layered cake. The filling, however, is phenomenal! I threw out the scratch cakes, used 2 yellow cake mixes with 1 cup of sour cream and 1 package of lemon pudding each, then layered those. I used the lemon filling in the middle, and strawberry jam stirred to filling consistency as the filling for the other 2 layers. Topped the cake with butter icing recipe provided and decorated with strawberries... was a HUGE hit!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

This is wonderful! I didn't have the liqueur, so I substituted with 1 3/4 TBSP raspberry flavoring with water to make the 1/2 cup, and it gave a wonderful raspberry chocolate flavor. YUM! Thanks for the recipe!

Meatloaf Muffins

HUGE family hit! I used ground turkey, and cream of mushroom soup. I topped the muffins with the same soup instead of ketchup. I also used dried minced onions. My kids loved it- so easy and very filling comfort food! Thanks for sharing!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
Served this at a birthday party along with the cake and cupcakes, and this was demolished, while the others barely got touched. I followed other reviews and added melted chocolate chips onto the crust, which was nice, but really, really hard to cut. Next time I will add a tiny bit of crisco to the chocolate, so it has more of a consistency of the chocolate on chocolate covered strawberries (cutable) and all the flavor. Thanks for the recipe- it is a new hit at our house!

Crunchy Chicken Balls

Pretty good- and so easy to adapt to what you have in the kitchen. I was out of Mayo and used Ranch. Was out of pecans and used a breadcrumb/glazed walnuts mixture. I think the pecans would be better. Will be using them next time. Thanks for a great fall-back recipe for parties.

Going to have to give this a solid 5 stars...very soft, nice and sweet if rolled in sugar. Best of all- the first recipe my 9 year old made ALL BY HERSELF...great recipe for kids! Turned out beautifully! Thanks!

Absolutely gorgeous when done. I don't like mayo and mustard, so I use cream of chicken or broccoli. A home run everytime I have made it. Thanks for the great recipe.

Cream Filled Cupcakes

I really wish I knew what I did wrong here. I followed the recipe to a T, and mine were light, light brown with no chocolate flavor and hard as a brick. Not good. I am thinking it HAS to be operator error since it has so many GOOD reviews. Just wish I knew. Not sure I will try again tho. Mine were bad enough my kids wouldn't even eat them. If I try again, I will re-rate them.

Eggless Chocolate Cake II

Was looking for another recipe on this site similar to this one when I stumbled across this. Was making it for a potluck. Have to say it was quite dense and took so long to cook it was just a tad too dry when done. Probably won't make it again.

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
I used this for a potluck and everyone scarfed it! I only used 3/4 cup of bread crumbs, and took the advice of another reviewer and added garlic powder and Italian seasoning to the chicken. I felt it was a little salty so only 4 stars, but really, really quite good and easy for after work dinners! Thanks!

T. T.'s Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
Oh my!! These are so good. I was looking for a peanut butter chocolate chip recipe that didn't call for brown sugar, so I didn't have any peanut butter cups on hand. I added another large dollop of peanut butter on top of the 1/3 cup, and baked as normal. FANTASTIC- and an excellent milk-dipping cookie. I made these for a birthday party tomorrow- and they won't make it there. No way. Thanks for a great recipe, T. T.

I am giving this 4 stars because my kids and husband really liked it. However, it was just way too salty for me between the soup and the sausage. Had a good base to build on, tho. Thanks for the recipe.

Apple Harvest Pound Cake with Caramel Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
I think I proved that this is a fool-proof recipe last night when I made it for the 1st time! I went into it and realized I had 2 eggs, not 3, so I substituted 2 tsp water, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp butter and 2Tbsp flour. Then when it was so thick (it was like stirring play-doh lol) I added some milk and sour cream. I worried the whole time it baked, because I was due at a party with cake in hand. It was perfect! I didn't have time to wait the 20 minutes for the cake to settle, and turned it over immediately (next time, will wait because it wasn't as pretty) and the glaze was perfect amount, just using it while cake was on platter and not wire rack. So, while I made some major mistakes, all of my own making- this cake was perfection and I can't wait to make it again- the REAL way! lol Thanks for the great recipe!

This has become my new go-to recipe. Love it! I didn't have maple sugar so I combine cinnamon, white sugar and some of the maple syrup until I can roll in it. Makes it slightly crunchy with a soft inside--YUM! Thanks for the recipe! Its a hit!
