Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cookies did come out very moist and soft. Halved the recipe and added 1/4 tsp salt and 1tsp baking powder, also 1/4 tsp almond extract. I didn't so much like the vanilla pudding powder smell when I ate the cookie, but I think I'll just try a different flavor next time.

Baked Chicken Nuggets

THE BEST CHICKEN NUGGETS! And so healthy! I only had plain bread crumbs so I added 1T Italian Seasoning, 1tsp each of onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper. Didn't use butter, used milk w/capful of vinegar and 1 egg to dredge. Baked at 400 for 15 min on cookie racks and then flipped them over and broiled for 5 min. They came out perfect and so tender!! Also made the Honey Mustard Sauce on this site - I don't like mustard and this sauce tasted so good with the nuggets - it's a MUST!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

If I could I would give this recipe 4.5 stars, the only downside to this was all the grease at the bottom of the pan. I've never made a meatloaf before so maybe that is normal? But I didn't enjoy it. I put the brown sugar and ketchup on top as well - which I think was the better way since there is so much oil and grease on the bottom. It was a very tasty dish though, I'd make it again, I just need to figure out how to remove the oily parts.

Tuna Noodle Casserole II

Reading other reviews, I added 1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots, 1 extra can of tuna, 1 tsp of onion powder and used 2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese and egg noodles instead. This made the dish less creamy but my boyfriend and I agreed it was better this way and more filling with veggies and tuna. Also topped with a light dusting of the rest of the cheese and then sprinkled on plain bread crumbs and then French's fried onions, came out PERFECT! I will definitely be making this one over and over!!

Self-Filled Cupcakes I

I made it for my team at work and they loved it!! My filling did not sink to the bottom, I think it's all about how you mix the ingredients so that the consistency comes out right. I filled half the cupcake with mix, then put in a table spoon full of filling and topped with a tablespoon of cake mix. Came out perfect! Delicious!

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Really tasty, healthy meal - I added a sprinkle of rosemary and red pepper flakes for a little kick. And made double the sauce, which was perfect. Served with sauteed spinach and brown rice.

Cheese and Broccoli Chicken Soup

Delicious - did make changes to the recipe. Sauteed onions and garlic with the chicken a little - then added chicken broth and some extra spices (nutmeg, thyme, red pepper). I waited about 20 minutes before putting the broccoli in since some stated how it all becomes really mushy really fast. And then mixed in the roux. I used a bit less flour than called for in the mix since i found it caked up quickly. even with slow stirring and mixing. But great recipe for a cold night!

Mini Ham And Cheese Rolls

Melt in your mouth!! So good! I didn't put the sauce inside like some suggested and thought it came out best that way because the sauce is quite strong. I used onion powder with parsley and green onion flakes instead and worked out perfect!

Pesto Sauce

Dip For The Stars

Absolutely the best dip ever! I made it for a holiday party this past weekend - everyone loved it AND many asked me for the recipe~! I did make a few changes based on other reviews. First off I made my own pesto sauce from this recipe off the site: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Pesto-Sauce/Detail.aspx - I halved the amount, used pine nuts and didn't add much salt which I think is really what made the dip as a whole good because I think store bought pesto is much saltier and the dip is already very flavorful on its own. For the dip, I also halved the recipe, still made a lot good for 15-20 people. Used a creamy feta, fresh cream cheese from a cheese market. Used about 1 1/4 cup of sun dried tomatoes in jar in oil - but made sure to drain as much oil as possible. Used all the pesto which was about 1 1/2 cup, again try to leave out oily parts. I added more tomatoes and pesto because other reviews stated there was too much cheese mixture, and it's true. So I just made the dip as I wanted and added more of the other layers. Best served with whole wheat pita or baguettes and make sure you place them on a separate plate because the dip will still be a bit oily on the bottom. WONDERFUL DIP!!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Very good flavor, easy to make! Loved the sauce - made double. Added 1 more clove of garlic and minced fresh ginger instead of powder. also used lite soy sauce. I used chicken breasts and yes, they did cook much quicker (I had put in oven at 400 for about 40 mins) and they came out kind of dry. I will have to make again this time not over cooking! very delicious though!

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Blueberry Spinach Salad

Surprisingly a really good salad! I don't really like blue cheese and I wasn't sure if it would go with blueberries, but - it did! I used extra virgin olive oil instead of vegetable oil and it turned out really good! Will definitely be making this salad over and over again!

Chicken, Stuffing and Green Bean Casserole

I made this dish for Thanksgiving and it was absolutely delicious! Reading other reviews, I did make some changes to the recipe. I used cream of mushroom and added a small can of sliced mushrooms (cause I love mushrooms). I also added 1/2 cup 1% low fat milk and cooked the chicken with a couple chopped up cloves of garlic. I did not add any extra salt, but did pepper it a little, used "no salt added" green beans and Stovetops Chicken stuffing. Only used about 1/2 cup of cheese (chedder & jack) to sprinkle on then topped it off with about 1 1/2 cup of french fried onions. Very easy recipe and very very good! My boyfriend is now requesting I make it all the time!

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

I used mini reese's peanut butter cups in the middle of the cookies instead of using peanut butter chips - turned out perfect! I also added 1 tbsp of water to make the cookies more moist.
