Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
My mouth was watering as I read the reviews to this recipe, but I was somewhat disappointed. I didn't see how I was going to get that crispy golden crust everyone talked about with all those juices in the pain, I changed pan 3 times to get rid of some of the juice. I ended up pouring all the juice out and baking it about 2 hours and making more sauce and turned the oven up to 400 as someone suggested, just so I could get that golden look. Honestly I liked the flavor, it just didn't work out like I thought. It was good though, just a lot of extra steps. I love to cook and love trying new things. I would cook it again just a little different next time. I don't know what I didn wrong, if anything.

Cream of Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
OMG! I tried this recipe last night with chicken breast and it was soooo good. I took on of the users suggestions and browned it so the cook time was not as long,I had something else cooking in the oven with it so I cooked it on 400 about 40 minutes. I also used a can of cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soup as a user suggested. It looked beautiful and tasted yummy. I put my own seasoning on it tweeked it a little to my liking, it turned out wonderful, I highly recommend this recipe, you cant go wrong. I'm having leftovers tonight and can't wait to get home =))

Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Blue Cheese-Chive Butter

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
I've been looking for a recipe for Flat Iron Steak, I always wanted to try it but feared it would be too tough. But I saw nothing but great reviews so I thought what the heck it sounds good. I cooked this last night and OMG the steak was sooooo tender, and the chive butter was different but I liked it very much, not a blue cheese person but it was very, very good. I will cook this again. I had the steak, rosemary roasted potatoes, salad and a nice crusty baguette. My niece if very picky but she loved the whole dinner as did I. Try this one, you won't regret it for sure. Thanks Kristin so much for this one, it's a keeper. I didn't change a thing. YUMMY! =))

Garlic Chicken with Orzo Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
I enjoyed this recipe last night and it was very good, I had never had orzo before and found it to be light and yummy. As suggested I cooked in in chicken broth. The whole thing was yummy. The one thing I did differntly is I browned my chicken half way so it would have color took it out of the skillet then added my garlic/onions then threw the chicken back in with the orzo. Yummo! Try it you will like it.
