Easy Italian Sausage Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2007
This is a great meal and quick to make. I use double the sauce and add generous amounts of garlic powder and oregano to the sauce when I mix it with the sausage. I also include a sprinkling of sliced black olives with each layer. This has become a favorite with my extended family and they always want me to make it for special occasions.

Oven Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
Yummy! I followed others' advice and cooked them on a cookie sheet covered in foil and cut the potatoes into smaller pieces. Once they were in the pan I sprinkled on salt, pepper, garlic powder and chili powder for a bit of kick. Before my daughter finished her plate she asked when I was going to make them again.

Sausage Scramble

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
This is a hit in my house. I cook the potatoes first, seasoning them with salt, pepper, garlic powder and chili powder. I remove them from the pan to cook the sausage. Then I throw them back in and warm everything up together before I add the eggs. Right at the end I stirred in shredded cheddar cheese, then topped it with some shredded parmesan. The leftovers usually don't last long.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
This turned out great! I pretty much followed instructions, though I did double the butter as some people advised. It wasn't too sweet. I can't wait to make it again.

Ham, Potato and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2007
My daughter loved this dish! As other people suggested, I used hashbrowns. Since I used a slightly smaller baking pan than it called for, I cut down on the broccoli and didn't use the mayo. It came out just right. I used a mix of Italian shredded cheese and sprinkled a bit of parmesan on top.

Italian Pasta Veggie Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
This is pretty close to something I make myself. I omit the peppers and onions and add cucumbers, black olives, and Italian salami that has been sliced and quartered. You can also add shredded cheese of your choice for extra flavor.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2007
This was pretty good. I added extra spices to give it a little more kick. It tasted better on the second day. The only problem was it got a little dry and burned a bit in the pan. Next time I'll put some chicken broth in the pan when I flip them over.

Taco Salad I

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
This was really, really good, though I did make some changes. I didn't use the French dressing at all. I followed the directions on the taco seasoning packet to make the meat. For the salad I added olives and was very generous with the sour cream. We also used the Nacho Doritos as suggested by others. It turned out really well. My daughter it really looking forward to having the leftovers tonight.

Ground Beef and Sausage in Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
I cut this in half and it still made way too much food. But the taste was good and I'll make it again - after I cut down the amounts some more.

Spaghetti Pizza Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
This was really, really yummy. I used mozz with some parmesan cheese. I doubled the amount of sauce as others suggested and it probably could have used a bit more. Overall it was really good.

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2007
The chicken came out nice and moist, but the flavor of the mustard overwhelmed everything else and I'm not a huge fan of that kind of mustard. If I make it again I would really cut down on the amount of mustard used.
