Decaf Mocha Punch (Lactose-Free)

SO GOOD! I have served this is at several parties and EVERY time I run out (even with a double batch) This is definitely a keeper for ANY occasion. Every just raves. And it is easy to make. You have to try this recipe!

Easy Cheese Ball II

Better than 5 Stars! My husband does not eat cheese balls.....TILL NOW. I left this at my mom's after Thanksgiving and he had me call my sister so she could drop it by our house! HE LOVED IT. The only thing I did different was to add REAL bacon pieces to the toasted pecans and then rolled it in that mixture. The bacon gave it such a wonderful flavor. Thanks for the recipe.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

AMAZING!! I cooked this for my husband on Valentine's Day. He said it was the best steak he had ever eaten. I am not a big meat eater and the bite I tried was DELICIOUS!! Every bite was full of flavor and very juicy. I took the advice of others and cooked it for about 7 minutes per side. I used a small skillet which kept the liquid from thinning-out away from the steak while it was cooking. May be this helped too, I don't know?

Spinach Brownies

I liked these because I LOVE spinach. Not a big hit with my husband and kids. It came out with a quiche like texture. I would like to make them a little thinner and change their name. Spinach Brownies just doesn't sound appealing. If you love spinach give this recipe a try. I liked it.

Empire Cookies

I chose these cookies for a church cookie swap. They turned out very beautiful and fancy displayed on a three tiered crystal serving dish. However, they were time consuming for me to make with a 3 year old under foot but not impossible. I gave this recipe 4 stars because I thought the cookie itself was somewhat bland, but others raved!! My 9 year old was smitten with them. I used 1/3 of a cherry for the "berry" and piped the leaf on with green icing. These cookies were definately a SHOW STOPPER!!!

Toasted Garlic Bread

It's Chili by George!!

My family loved this recipe including me and I am not a huge chili fan. The only thing I did not add was the tomato juice because it was not put on my grocery list. Therefore, I opted to reduce the chili powder. Add it turned out DELICIOUS!!!! Next time I will add the juice and try it out.

Glazed Meatloaf II

This was the BEST meatloaf ever! I halved the recipe because my 3 kids normally do not like meatloaf. I baked it for suggested time in a stoneware muffin pan. It made about 9-12 small round meatloaves. WONDERFUL. My kids LOVED it!!! Next time a full batch will be needed. The only downside to baking in a muffin pan is the difficulty in draining off the fat, but worth it! THANK YOU FOR BRINGING MEATLOAF BACK TO MY TABLE!! Will make again and again.

Rice Casserole

KEEPER!! This rice was a big hit with my 6 year old who is a VERY picky eater. She ate 3 BIG servings. WOW! I also loved it. Very creamy and flavorful. I did follow the recipe exactly but I think it would also taste good with 1 can of the cream of mushroom. Thank you for submitting this recipe.

Breaded Brussels Sprouts

This brussels sprouts recipe was a wonderful change-up from the plain recipes. I used frozen sprouts and they were very flavorful not bitter. My husband and 9 year old rated them perfect. I will definetly make these again.

Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce

My family loved this recipe. Even my steak and potatoes husband. My mother-in-law called it gourmet, like from a restaurant! WOW. I did make more pasta than called for to accomodate the amount of sauce. Served with butter steamed broccoli and frozen pierogies, a GREAT light meal.
