Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2013
I just made this soup using leftover ham from yesterday's Christmas dinner, and I am a happy girl!! I adore soup and make it weekly, so when I found this recipe with all the positive reviews, I decided to try it... so glad I did! After reading loads of reviews and suggestions, I decided to make it exactly by the poster's recipe, with the exception of the salt & pepper, and then make any necessary adjustments based on our tastes. Once it was all together, I added salt and pepper to taste and had myself a sample bowl of it. So, so good!!! I can't wait to make it for a crowd, as I know there will be lots of praise for this soup and for me!!! =)

Dried Beef Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
Have made this recipe (without the MSG) for years and it's always a huge hit! I also substitute garlic powder for the onion salt as there's plenty of salt in the beef.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
This recipe makes the most perfect cookies! I've tried so many of them and this is now MY recipe for these cookies. I don't start the timing until the rolling boil begins, but I only boil it for 1 minute. I tried boiling them for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes and that made them dry and crumbly. Some folks may prefer them that way, I don't. Boiled for 1 minute as directed by Robin gives a perfect result for me. Thanks Robin!!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
Wow, very, very good recipe!! We loved it and will make it again and again. I did lightly dust the chicken with flour to help the thickening process, but that was the only change I made. I served it with rice and sauteed garlic asparagus from this site! Everything was awesome! Thanks Kate!

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
We (hubby & I) tried this tonight for the first time, though certainly NOT the last. This is an amazing dish! I did as others suggested and increased some of the liquids for the sauce, then I used a pinch of red pepper flakes and not quite so much black pepper but that was it. It was creamy, amazingly flavorful and extremely satisfying. I will be serving this at my next dinner party! Thanks Tina!!!

Baked Spaghetti I

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
This turned out to be a very happy accident for my husband and I. I started out planning to make chili this afternoon, but shortly after I had the ground beef, onions, peppers, and celery cooked up, I found out I didn't have any beans in the pantry, and I wasn't in the mood to run to the grocery store. So, I had to get to work to find something to use that meat mixture for and this was it. I looked at a couple of other Baked Spaghetti recipes, but I had ALL the ingredients for for this one and I loved the number of reviews it had received. Because I had read a few reviews stating that the recipe was bland, I decided to give the meat/tomato mixture a taste before starting the layering process. Score! It was perfect! My husband and I could hardly wait the 35 minutes while the casserole baked and melted all that yummy cheese. We were blown away at how good this was. Since it was just the two of us for dinner this evening, we will be enjoying it again tomorrow! :) I will make this again and again. I'm already planning to bring this the next time I need a nice big main dish casserole for Church or a family gathering. Thanks LaDonna, for this recipe, it's a real winner!!!

Stuffed Celery

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2008
After reading some of the reviews stating the recipe was bland, I decided to go ahead and try it. I was pretty sure I could save it if I had to. I went ahead and made it exactly as written and never had to make the first adjustment. I love the texture that the walnuts and the chopped olives gave it and it was nicely seasoned due to the salt and flavor from the olives. I will most definitely make it again!!! Thanks Linda!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
I have made this recipe several times now. They are the best! And the fact that they have "regular" ingredients that I always have on hand, means that I can make them at the drop of a hat!! Thanks for sharing your Grandmas recipe, I'll never buy the boxed mix again!! :D
