Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
This recipe is DELICIOUS! I put the seasoning is a plastic ziplock baggy, and put each chicken breast half in it seperately. Definitely don't need to "mild" it out - as the seasoning isn't very bold once cooked in the oven. This recipe is like healthy taco's! I served with a side of tortilla chips to dip into the extra salsa! Thank you!

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
I'd give this brownie recipe 1,000 stars if that were an option! Yumm! I actually used less butter and omitted the honey in the frosting and they came out SO good!! This is a must try and will be my end-all be-all brownie recipe from now on!! Thank you!! A+++

Dumplings

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
Absolutely delicious. I have never before made dumplings, but for some odd reason I was craving chicken and dumplings last night for dinner. I whipped these up really fast, and they were absolutely scrumptious. Thank you Carol for a wonderful recipe!

This recipe was delicious! I made it for my husband following the ingredients and instructions to a "T" and he loved it! He even took some to his mother and her husband because he wanted to share the goodness! Wonderful recipe!

Jewish Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
This recipe is wonderful! I used a mix of apples... I used 2 golden delicious and 3 macintosh. My batter was VERY thick because I did not have an orange juice, but subbed apple juice instead. I also added 1 TBS of vanilla and more cinnamon/sugar mix to coat the apples in. I didn't think this was going to turn out well because of how thick the batter was, it was like molasses on a cold day! But, I managaed to do three layers and batter, and 2 layers of cinnamon/sugar apples, and baked it for 50 minutes and kept checking it since other reviewers said to beware that 80-90 minutes may be too long. However, I had to keep resetting the timer, so it took about 85 minutes to fully cook. My hubby and I ate half of it last night! It is delish! Thank you!

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
This is absolutely delicious. My husband LOVES it and he is a fairly picky eater. I use 1-lb of lean (93/7) ground beef because he likes it meaty. I also put one layer of the pizza mix in a 9X13 dish, put a layer of mozzarella on top, then another layer of the pizza mix and bake it that way. Before it's done, I add some more mozzarella cheese to the top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes. You can also add red pepper flakes to it if you like a little spice!

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
Delicious... I made a few changes. Instead of the tomato juice, I used 1 can diced tomatoes (with juice), and I used 2 cans kidney beans (since I prefer them over pinto beans). I omitted the green pepper, only because I didn't have it on hand. It was absolutely delicious. This is my chili staple.

Bronco Burger

Reviewed: May 4, 2011
My husband and I did not care for these burgers. He disliked them more than I did. They did not turn out well, unfortunately. I thought the other users were exaggerating when they said it tastes like a meatloaf burger - they weren't exaggerating. We also didn't like how you could taste the steak sauce - it was almost overwhelming (and i followed the recipe). Strange. Will not be making again, but thanks for submitting it anyway!

Mini Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
This recipe was fantastic. The only teeny tiny adjustments I made were as follows: instead of the ginger, I subbed in a 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, and I added 1/2 cup MORE pumpkin puree. Delicious recipe. My batter wasn't runny, at all. I used a small melon baller and got perfectly sized pies :)
