Anniversary Chicken I
I just don't get it. Maybe the Teriyaki sauce I used didn't have the right flavor, but I thought this had a wierd taste, and I love both Teriyaki and Ranch dressing. I thought this recipe couldn't fail with the ingredients, but I disliked it very much. I made it exactly as the recipe stated.

Cabbage Rolls II
ok! Sometimes I get tired of being the one who rates a 5 star recipe badly. Maybe I am a picky eater. I don't know. Anyway! I made these two times. The first time I followed the recipe exactly. Exactly as written above. No changes. It got 2 stars, because the meat was bland and dry, the cabbage was a PIA, there was too little sauce, and it was a PIA to cook the rice. Too much work and it didn't taste very good. This time, 4-5 stars. I read the reviews (DUH!) and followed other reviews advice. I added onion soup mix to the meat, quadrupled the sauce, (all ingredients, was delicious), added uncooked rice, cooked in the oven at 375 for one hour instead of the crock pot, and best of all, I used bagged shredded cabbage. EASY! I spread cabbage on the bottom of a glass baking dish, rolled the meat into balls and placed them over the top of the cabbage, placed more shredded cabbage on top of that, and added sauce all over the top. DELICIOUS!!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, was because the meat seemed the tiniest bit bland, even with the onion soup mix. I think next time I'll try minced garlic, or even adding some of the sauce to the meat mixture before rolling into balls. But I will definitely make it again like this. SO EASY and good!!!!!
