About this Cook
I'm a 35 year old stay at home mom that loves to browse through recipes. With a 4 and 2 year old at home, it's hard to cook as much as I'd like to. Our family also consists of my husband and our one cat, who prefers to stay out of sight of the kids.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm torn between trying out new recipes each year for the holidays, which is what my mom did, and sticking with traditional dishes, as my husbands family does.

Cream Cheese Frosting I
The best and easiest frosting ever! I only used 1 c. sugar and it turned out perfect for our easter cupcakes! I loved that you could taste both the butter and cream cheese, but they were not overpowering.

Grandma's Chicken Chardon
Great recipe, however, I only used 3 chicken breasts and kept the rest of the ingredients the same...would definatley would at least double the mushrooms. Very easy and tasty!

Cream Puffs
These were so easy and turned out perfect! I did add vanilla to the batter and after mixing the flour into the water/butter, I put the mix into my KitcheAid and added all 4 eggs until the mixture was silky. It made 20 perfectly sized puffs. I did have some problems with them sticking to the pan, which created holes in the bottoms of some. I will use parchment paper next time. Also, I didn't use the filling, but used a super simple vanilla pudding recipe from this site.
