Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2011
I used 1/3 cup of sugar, omitted the sesame seeds, used balsamic vinegar, and used chopped walnuts because I like them better. With these slight modifications, it turned out awesome. Even my kids loved it! Will definitely be making this a lot this summer!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2010
I absolutely loved this recipe! It was more of chicken chili than a soup. I followed the recipe exactly except for leaving out the onions and substituting chicken broth for the beer. Turned out perfect and the leftovers were great the next day. This will be one of our new staples!

Campbell's Kitchen Easy Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
This recipe was very easy to make, but it turned out very bland. It definitely needs something else to add more flavor. The crust was not very good either. I would have preferred a flaky pie crust instead. I will not be making this again.

Crispy Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
My family really enjoyed this recipe. I used Italian bread crumbs mixed with parmesan cheese instead of croutons. I baked for about 18 minutes and then spooned on some spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese. I returned to the oven until the cheese melted. The chicken was crispy and had a good flavor. A quick and easy meal!

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I have to give this recipe 5 stars because it is the easiest cookie recipe I have ever made. It took me about 5 minutes to mix the ingredients, put them on the pan, and get them in the oven! They were really tasty too! This will definitely be my new peanut butter cookie recipe.

French Toast II

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2009
This was my first time making french toast and it turned out great! I used texas toast and left out the nutmeg because we were out. I sprinkled powdered sugar on it and cut it into french toast sticks for my 2 year old. She loved dipping it in syrup. I will definitely be making this recipe again!

Easy Cheesy Cream of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
This was so quick and easy to make! I had dinner cooked and on the table in less than 15 minutes. The only change I made was to use cream of celery in place of the mushroom. I think it really helped. I served in sourdough bread bowls and the presentation was wonderful. Will definitely be making this again and again!

Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
This recipe was a wonderful new take on spaghetti. My family really enjoyed it. The only change I made was adding extra sauce as other reviewers have suggested. This dish holds together really well like a lasagna and it makes a ton! We had enough for dinner the next night and it tasted just as good reheated. We will definitely be making this again.

Ham and Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
I made these sandwiches for dinner and we thought they were pretty good. There was nothing really special about them, but we liked them. I used King's Hawaiian rolls like other reviewers suggested and I doubled the butter mixture to make them less dry. I also made half with ham and half with turkey, they both tasted really good. They were quick and easy to put together and I will definitely make them again.

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I was looking for a clam chowder recipe that tasted like the restaurant. This just didn't do it for me. I followed the recipe exactly as written and I was not happy with the outcome. I didn't like the addition of red wine vinegar. I would leave it out next time.

My family has been making this for years and everybody loves it! It is always a hit at parties. Quick, easy, and creamy cheese dip. Keeps well in a crock pot during a party.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
This turned out absolutely delicious! I halved the recipe for two of us and it was the perfect portion. I used KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce. I put the chicken in the slow cooker frozen, then I cooked on high for 2 hours and on low for about 2 more. Chicken was moist and yummy served on buns.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
This recipe turned out so yummy. I halved the recipe since it was just me and my husband. I used chicken broth instead of water. I cooked on high for 4 hours, then I added the dumplings and some frozen mixed veggies for another hour. Turned out awesome! Really yummy and flavorful.

Ian's Potato-Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
I thought this recipe was awesome. It turned out great following the directions as written. I made it for dinner for my newly vegetarian husband. He thought it was just okay, but the rest of the family loved it! The only thing that might have made it even better would be to use all fresh instead of frozen veggies.

Easy Corn Chowder I

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2008
I thought this corn chowder was good, but not great. Definitely not the restaurant quality I was looking for. It is a good basic recipe that could use some tweaking to give it what it's missing. Next time I'll experiment with different seasonings to make it more flavorful.

Cheryl's Spinach Cheesy Pasta Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
I was looking for a new recipe for my husband, who is a vegetarian, and this one is a definite keeper. It turned out awesome. The spinach flavor was good, not too overwhelming.I used italian seasoned bread crumbs which gave it great flavor. The eggs really held it together well. I was worried about using cheddar, but the flavor was really good mixed with the mozzarella cheese, not what I was expecting. The only thing I might try next time is adding some mushrooms.

Bean Quesadillas

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
These were easy and turned out awesome. I used another reviewer's suggestion and instead of onions, tomatoes, and green peppers, I just used chunky salsa with the black bean and corn mixture. Turned out really tasty. I also substituted a little olive oil instead of the vegetable oil to cook the tortillas.

Stuffed Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
I thought this recipe was just okay. It needed something else to add a little more flavor. If I make it again I'll try less spinach and maybe some mushrooms or italian sausage in the filling.
