Angel Food Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
I made this last monday and it was my first time with an angel food cake. I scaled the ingredients because i had only 8 whites left. It's a wonderful cake, better the next days for me. I'll try it again for sure. It's a good way to use egg whites. Tanks for the recipe.

Blueberry Oat Waffles

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
Great waffles. I left out pecans, added only 2 tbsp of oil an increase milk by 1 1/2 tbsp. Very tastefuls. thanks for sharing. Update... Once, I forgot to add sugar and now, I can say I prefer them without it. Oh, great with orange juice too instead lemon!!!

Fudgy Brownies II

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
I doubled the recipe and use a 9x13 inch baking pan. used only 1 1/2 cups of sugar and added 1 cup toasted walnuts and 1 cup raisin soaked in hot rum. DELICIUOS. first time i made the recipe following the instruction and using a 9x9 inch pan. the result was a thin and crunchy brownie-big cookie too sweet for my personal taste. Now, with changes, i can say they are the best! thanks for recipe

Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
I love these cookies even if I hate ripe bananas. they are cake-like but very tastefuls. i made them 2 times but i'm sure i'll do they again and again. thanks for the recipe. UPDATE: I sub applesauce for half butter, added some dried cranberries, a pinch of salt and used 1 cup quick cooking oats and 1 cup rolled oats. They came out much better.

Caramel Macchiato Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
I made this for my boyfriend's birthday. and it was my first cheesecake. I added more espresso (about 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp) reduced sour cream (2/3 cup) and added 1/3 cup irish cream. Sub. digestive biscuits for the graham crackers (I live in Italy) and omitted the sugar in the crust. also cooked it in a water bath. it turned out perfect! Maybe a little too sweet for me but everyone loved it. i will make it again!!! thanks for the recipe

Apple-Cran-Cherry Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2007
I'm from Italy and I tried this cookies last saturday. I omit the spices because my family don't like cinnamon, and the cardamom is difficult to find here as dried cherries and brown sugar. So I halved the recipes and used only dried cranberries and demerara sugar. I think they're very good cookies, but a bit too sweet . They're great with a good cappuccino for breakfast and after dinner with a glass of milk. Thanks for the recipe.
