Blueberry Buttermilk Coffeecake

This coffeecake was a hit at church and at home. This recipe makes a very full 9 x 13 pan so don't make it unless you're planning to feed a lot of mouths. Used the cinnamon in the topping as recommended & also made 2 batches of topping. 1 1/2 of the topping was about just right. Dusting the blueberries with flour helped somewhat. Cooking time was definitely closer to 1 hr. Recipe is a keeper!

Pecan Pie V

This pie was yummy! Very full of flavor. Definitely does need the extra 1/2 cup of pecans as suggested by others and more for the top to make it pretty. I also used the 1/2 tsp. of molasses for added flavor. This one's a keeper!

Chocolate Hazelnut Cake

This cake was fantastic and easy to make! I made it for a get together with all women. You know it's good when women are having seconds and wanting to take it home! I did follow the tip about the 1/4 cup cream coming to room temp before mixing it with the melted chocolate. That helped a great deal along with adding it slowly and whisking quickly. Next time I make it I think I will use a higher grade chocolate to give the filling an even richer flavor. This recipe is a keeper!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Wow! This cheesecake was fantastic! It was my first one ever and it came out perfect! I followed the tips of the first 3 reviews: ingredients at room temperature, careful to not overbeat (though i did use my countertop mixer and not a wooden spoon as recommended), water bath and cinnamon crust recipe. My cheesecake had no cracks whatsoever and was perfectly smooth and looked like one you buy at the store. Everyone loved it and it was unbelieveably easy to make. This is recipe to use!

Apple Crisp IV

This is the best apple crisp recipe to date. I made it for company and it was a hit with everyone. I followed the suggestion to reduce the flour by 1/2 cup and that worked out well. Due to the amount of topping, next time I would either cut the recipe in 1/2 and just put it on top or add more apples.
