Rice Pudding II
I loved this recipe but lowered the caloric content. I used all Splenda instead of sugar and 1% milk instead of whole milk. I added the cinnamon as recommended. That was a great touch. I too had to bake it for 1 1/2 hours to get the desired consistancy. Delicious and virtually guilt free~

Apricot Chicken I
I too have a twist on this great recipe. I either use Russian or Mix Russian and French dressing. I also put pineapple chunks on top. I also prefer to use skinless chicken thighs instead of breasts although they are both good.

Grandma Elaine's Unstuffed Sweet and Sour Cabbage
I too grew up with this recipe. It is truly wonderful and worth the time. It was always a special occasion at our house when mom made this. However, I have never tried the brown sugar. Sounds yummy. I prefer to use splenda or sweet n low instead of any sugar and leave everything as the original recipe states. Mom used to make a separate pot like this for my dad who was diabetic and it too is fabulous. Pete's sister.... :)
