Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2013
This was very tasty and filling. I added 1/2c vanilla yogurt instead of both teaspoons of honey, I just used one and it was just as sweet. Will make again for my husband.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
The family liked this bread a lot, but it was a little dense and dry for my liking. I guess I was looking for a fluffier bread. It did toast up nicely and with jam it was delicious. A nice tasting bread.

Pastry for Double Pie-Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Great universal crust. I whipped this up fast and it was very flaky.

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
One of the best roasted chicken dinners I have ever made or tasted. I added 1 cup of white wine to the bottom of the roasting pan and some fresh sprigs of thyme. Was wonderful with steamed green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. Will make for years to come!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
I used some over ripened bananas, and doubled the recipe. Apparently it wasn't enough. I made mini loaves to share and got calls for more the day after. I have a happy family when I make this. Thank you for this recipe.

Pumpkin Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
Made these after Halloween, and used pumpkin from scratch. I made for a very runny batter and the cookies came out way too soft. I may want to tweak this or combine with another recipe that is similar.

Kimberly's Meaty Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
This recipe made my meatloaf tighten up and firm for me. Which was sort of a good thing since I cooked this recipe in 2 8" round cake pans. I drained and stacked them on top of each other to create a meat cake for my father's birthday. I didn't use the cheese only because we have picky eaters in my family. I "frosted" with garlic mashed potatoes and barbecue sauce. It was a huge hit taste and novelty wise.

Toasted Pumpkin Seeds with Sugar and Spice

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
Husband and I loved these. Although, I cooked them too long and had to scrape them off the cookie sheet, next time I will use parchment paper.

Snowballs

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
I made these cookies while visiting my mother one day. My mother-in-law makes them for the holidays ever year and includes them in her "treat basket". So I was pleasantly surprised when she liked my cookies from an updated version of her old recipe. Make sure you let them cool a bit before rolling them in powdered sugar. I learned after the first time the cookies were too hot so the sugar melted and didn't leave a powdered layer. Will use this recipe again and again.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
This was a really good cookie, but mine came out a bit too crumbly for my taste. Good job, quick snack and healthier when i added chopped peanuts and whole wheat flour.

Pumpkin Muffins II

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
The 5 stars is really for the reaction I got from my family after they ate these delicious muffins. I added 1 cup of the following; raisins, dried cranberries and walnuts. My mother & father requested more and the recipe shortly after the basket of muffins disappeared.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
Great cookie! Crisp on outside with soft chewy center. I add a pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon. The prep time is longer than they last in my house.

Microwave Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
This turned out to be a complete disaster for me. I followed the directions to a T, but was still soft like caramel. What did I do wrong? Don't think I'll ever find out, tossing this out of my recipe box. I'd rather do it the old fashioned way, stove top.

Pumpkin Cookies VI

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
I followed this recipe to the "T" and my cookies took too long to bake, and they came out more like cake than cookies. I would recommend this recipe for muffins or bread, but add more pumpkin to the mix. Although sort of bland my husband loved them, but then he loves sweets in general.
