Sweet Apple Crumble

This is a good recipe if you are looking for something different. The chocolate and peanut butter dominate the taste. I didn't particularly think these flavors complimented the apples. Of course, this is based on my taste buds.

General Tsao's Chicken

Good recipe. I followed the recipe with the exception that I used brown sugar instead of white sugar. Not sure if this made a big difference, but I agree with a previous reviewer that there is something missing. Taste was sorta bland. I apologize I am a novice chef, so I am not sure what to recommend to enhance flavor.

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs

This was my first dish made with the crock pot and I am now a believer in its wonders and in this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly. The combination of the spices was perfect. By the time I woke up the next morning, my husband had already devoured the left-overs. I will make this again. (Only draw back to making it every day is that I am watching my cholestorol...it was slightly greasy...I believe this is just the nature of pork.)

Good recipe. I couldn't find the McCormick marinade at the grocery store, so I substituted a dry jamaican jerk marinade. So, I assume the original recipe will be just as tasty.

Mango Lassi I

There was too much water required. I only used 2 cups and it was still too watery. I also think it might be better with mango nectar versus the ripe mangos. This recipe captures the essence, but needs a lot of tweeking to get it right.

Chocolate Lobster

I am not a fan of lobster, but the chocolate made it irresitible. My only thought is that I would have prefered the sauce to be thicker, so that the chocolate taste could be more amplified. Maybe use heavy cream instead of milk?

Brazilian Chicken with Coconut Milk

Excellent flavor! The flavor was even magnified when I had it as leftovers. After reading the other reviews I decided to use 1/2 of the coconut milk. This gave it more of a sauce. I feel it would be too soupy and water-down the flavor if I used what was recommended.
