Jewish Coffee Cake

This is my favorite cake ... delicious! I actually mix half of the nut mixture into the cake batter and then add the rest on top.

Brownie Biscotti

Fantastic!!! I cut the **second** bake time (when the cut slices are baked) in half. This reduced the hardness of the biscotti and there was very little crumbling and no pieces fell apart. It was delicious!

Italian Wedding Cookies II

Fantastic! I'm a novice baker but these turned out really great looking and just as good to eat! I did find the chocolate a bit thick to cut through, so next time I'll take the advice offered and use a little less so it doesn't crumble. Great recipe!!

Wow, this is a great cheesecake! I wasn't such a big fan of cheesecake in the past but this is a definite keeper. It's good for breakfast, too!!

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

I could (almost) eat this all myself! It's that good! My deep dish pan is 9", not 10", so I leave a little batter and topping out and bake it separately in a small custart-type dish. Delicious "pie"!!

Banana Split Cheesecake

Delicious! I used a 9" -deep dish- pie pan and modified the amounts to about 3/4 of what was called for in the recipe. It looked beautiful! The crust was a little bit crumbly but the taste made up for it.

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Thees cookies are delicious ... and are made even better by either sticking a few chocolate chips on before baking or drizzling melted chocolate on afterwards. They never last long in our house!

Amish White Bread

I am making this for the 2nd time. One loaf will be plain and other loaf will be cinnamon raisin. (I did reduce white sugar to 1/3 cup.) I'm going to divide dough in half, sprinkle one half with cinnamon, raisins and a little brown sugar and then knead. The first time I sprinkled with cinnamon & raisins *after* kneading and rolled it up as one reviewer said she did. But this resulted in only a small area of cinnamon raisin in the middle of the loaf and I'd prefer it spread out throughout each slice. Thanks for this delicious and versatile recipe!
