Honey Wheat Breadsticks

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
These were the best breadsticks I've ever made. They were light and fluffy like rolls. I used my kitchenaid mixer and didn't even wait for them to rise. It took me about 30min from beginning to end. I used the convection while baking because I had them on multiple racks. They came out of the oven double the size and tasted like I'd worked at least half the day. The only recipe change was I used 1/4 cup brown sugar instead of 3tbsp. honey. MMMMM....Good!

Hawaiian Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
I made this last Thanksgiving and it does have potential. I will try it again, but omit the bananas and add some ginger to taste. It is not too sweet, but it's really good for those who like natural fresh foods.

Golden Cake Batter Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
This bread is so yummy with a light vanilla cake batter flavor. My kids beg for me to make it all the time. I just bake it in a regular bread pan. This is not a pound cake or sweet bread. It's light and fluffy. Very good.

Avocado Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2007
I used this for a Salsa Recipe contest and won. It is pretty good. I didn't follow the recipe completely because I couldn't find it before I rushed to the store.....so I used green onions and added 1 kiwi and used some red chili pepper flakes to add some kick. It was a hit! I think I will try it with the red onion next time, but still add the kiwi and the "kick".

Microwave Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
This recipe is great for simple, easy, and tasty! This turns out just like the microwave caramel corn you can buy. The second time I made this I didn't have the paper bag, so I put another bowl on top and was able to distribute the caramel on even better than with the paper bag. The first time I made this, I used twice the amount of popcorn and it was nice with just a light taste of the caramel. This is my favorite recipe for a simple and quick way to make caramel popcorn. It will turn out gooey if you don't lay it out after shaking it at the end. ENJOY!
