I currently work in culinary research and food development. I am not a professional chef but I was taught by my parents the love of food and cooking. I love trying new recipes and techniques, working with spices and making up new spice blends and rubs. Love to eat and make people happy with my cooking.

I grew up around the ocean and have traveled extensively..I love to cook regional foods of areas I have visited and I love to cook seafood. :)

Golden Crescent Rolls
Excellent! I had only one pkg of yeast so I dissolved it in 2 tablespoons of warm water 110 degrees with a tablespoon of sugar. I let that sit until it was foamy on top. Added that into bread machine before mixing. Also, in lieu of shortening, used 1 stick of butter softened and sliced and replaced the water with warm milk. To cut calories, I did not spread the dough with butter before shaping rolls. They still turned out rich and buttery and rose beautifully! Thank you for sharing the recipe!!

Linda's Lasagna
Excellent-only change I made was I used 1 clove of fresh garlic chopped instead of garlic powder and blended the cottage cheese with store brought shredded Italian blend of cheeses (Romano, parm, & fontina) instead of just parm. Delicious and a lower calorie option! Thanks for posting this recipe!!!

Creamed Chipped Beef On Toast
Excellent! Used ground beef instead. Browned beef and drained before adding to gravy mix. Added salt to taste, a pinch and a half of cayenne and fresh ground black pepper. Cayenne added great flavor with no heat. Served over biscuits or wheat toast. Brought back memories of my military Dad making this for us for breakfast on a cold day! :)
