Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2013
Very fluffy, very tasty. I just add a little bit of vanilla extract in the end. This is my go-to recipe for pancakes and I will never buy any pancake mixes again! Thanks for the recipe!

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
This soup has amazing flavor. I didn't change the recipe at all. So comforting and delicious. The apple adds a nice little sweetness and the cream is a must!

Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
Extremely flavorful and simple to make. Substituted serrano peppers because my store didn't have habanero. Still spicy, but not unbearable. Thank you - this is a keeper!

Gingerbread Men

EASY, delicious (not as spicy as traditional gingerbread, which I love). This is a definite keeper! Thank you!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
I used plain yellow mustard and a little whole grain mustard. This marinade is SO GOOD! I marinated it for a few hours, then baked it in the oven. Chicken came out very moist and flavorful. I will use this one alot. Thank you!

Butter Rich Spritz Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2007
I give this recipe five stars for FLAVOR! It couldn't get them to work in my cookie press, but it was my first time, so I just rolled them into balls, put a thumb print on them and some sprinkles. They taste wonderful: flaky, buttery, and just enough almond flavor without altering the recipe at all. This is a great basic that I'd recommend to anyone.

Creamiest Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
I found that the rice/milk/sugar mix only took about an hour from the time that it just started to simmer. But I cut the recipe in half, so maybe that's why I didn't need 80 mins as others suggested. The pudding is creamy and delicious, very flavorful. I only gave it four stars instead of five since you really do have to have at least an hour free to just keep walking back to stir it every few minutes. I will make it again but probably only for special occasions.

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
Cake was very tasty but a little drier than I like cake to be. But it's a nice simple recipe and I will make it again.

Chocolate Frosting I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2007
Spread easily and was nice and chocolately. I used butter (instead of margarine) and I used only 2.5 cups of powdered sugar and it was sweet enough to my taste. Nice and simple recipe. I recommend adding the sugar a half cup at a time and tasting to see how sweet you like it.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
These are the best onion rings I have ever had! They are so easy to make and are absolutely delicious. I seasoned the flour with some "Essence" (Emeril's spice mixture with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder etc). Also, I used the Italian style bread crumbs. They were eaten quicker than I could make them! Finally, I served them with Ranch dressing - DELICIOUS!
