Pizza Dough III

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2003
This crust turned out great. Like other reviewers noted, I had to add a little bit extra flour (maybe 1/4 cup). Great flavor and texture.

Annemarie's Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2007
These are wonderful lemon bars! After reading some reviews about too little lemon filling, I made a couple adjustments. I kept the crust the same but pressed it into a 9x9 pan and baked for 10 minutes. Then I increased the lemon filling to 1 1/2 times the amount in the recipe. This gave me the perfect ratio of crust and filling! Perfect balance of sweet and tart.

Soft Molasses Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
These cookies were amazing. I made a few changes based on some other reviews... increased cinnamin to 2 tsp and increased the molasses to 1/2 c. Also used 1/2 c. white and 1/2 c. br sugar. The resulting cookie was soft, had excellent flavor and tasted great iced with caramel frosting.

Yummy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
These are one of the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies I've had. I actually left out the cinnamon by accident and added extra chocolate chips. Very soft/chewy in the center. This recipe makes about 5 dozen cookies.

Blonde Brownies II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
These are great. They have a crisp outer shell and a gooey center. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the salt, if you use a full tsp they are way too salty, I use 1/4 tsp and they turn out perfectly.

Monster Cookies II

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
I have had this recipe in my collection for years. The only difference is mine calls for 2 tablespoons of maple syrup instead of the 1 1/2 teaspoons of corn syrup. These are chewy and rich and are the cookie I'm asked most for at work.

Chocolate Sheet Cake II

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
Very good basic chocolate cake. I made the recipe as is and made 2 9" round pans. They came out the perfect size for a layer cake.

Eggless Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
These are good for an eggless recipe, but didn't have enough cocoa or peanut butter for me. Next time I'll at least double the peanut butter.

Cheesecake Dessert Squares

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
These turned out really good. I used a 9x13 pan and so had to cook them a few minutes longer. The whipped egg whites gave them a slightly lighter texture than most cheesecakes. Will definately make these again.

Easy Streusel Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2008
The recipe for the cake is great. Instead of the cocoa I use a brown sugar and cinnamon mix for the streusel.

I used a graham cracker crust because I didn't have any wafers and this was still amazing. Tasted like lemon cheesecake bars!!!

Oatmeal Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2006
The oatmeal "pies" are just great oatmeal cookies themselves... but if you're looking for something really sweet then add the filling and sandwich them. They're great either way!!

Extra Extra Rich Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2001
These brownies had a wonderful texture but I think the amount of cocoa and sugar should be switched (I did that the second time and they were much better). I also think they should be made in a 9x9 pan. Overall they were decilcious and disappeared the same day I made them.

Magic Cookie Bars II

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
I love these!! Very very sweet so a small piece will do. I usually use 2 c. graham cracker crumbs, omit the coconut and increase the choc. & butterscotch chips to 1 c. each.

Raisin Buttermilk Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
This was an amazing, moist coffee cake. I increased the amount of the topping and added some vanilla to the cake batter. The pan disappeared at work in a couple hours.

These always turn out well! I usually reduce the sugars to 1 cup each and decrease the baking time to about 25 minutes.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

These are a great, basic PB cookie. I ended up refrigerating them overnight and didn't have any problems with them spreading too thin.

This is amazing frosting!! The perfect amount of chocolate and not overly sweet. I use it as a fudgy filling in some of my cakes.
