Power Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
My family loved it. Even my toddler. Save your self some time spray your pot, and spoon with baking spray, its keeps everything from sticking and makes it easier to spread in the pan. I added some chocolate chips after putting it in the pan before it completely cooled.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
I finally got it! From reading the reviews I understand how to get the perfect crumble. They are great! I used a triple fruit spread instead of raspberry. Thanks!

Fruity Couscous Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
My family loved it. I did cook the couscous in OJ. I gave it three stars but my family would rate it higher. I really did not care for the cumin, but everyone else loved it. This is dry mixture which it is supposed to be, but it is flavorful. My family even had second helpings the next day.

Strawberry Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
Nice flavor, I was surprised because the cinnamon and strawberry yogurt neutralize the acidity of the balsamic vinegar. I did marinate for 24 hours which I do think is needed to get the right flavor.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2008
I was searching for a true pasta fagioli and this is it, Most other recipes has some type of meat added. This was a peasant soup ( tomato's beans and pasta were cheap) and meats were and not part of this originally. Now this soup is very flavorful. I only cooked two cups of dry dilatini very al dente then added it to the soup. I 1 lb would have been to much for me. I also would not serve it right away, its one of those thing that is better after it cools and is reheated. I also would add one chopped carrot when cooking the onion next time.

This was very easy to make and tasted great. The only change I made was I used ground turkey instead of beef strips. Will make again.

Aggression ( Oatmeal ) Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
These were fun to make but they crumbled when you touched them and ended up all over the floor. I agree with the other reviewer who stated they tasted like butter and sugar. I had to throw these out and I have never had to that with anything I have made from this site before.

All American Roast Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
I did not believe that this roast would be moist, but I took a chance and will only make it this way now. It is moist and very flavorful, you must you kosher salt. I do not think it would be the same without it. It is truly a classic roast beef, even my non meat eating two year old could not stop eating it!

Big Hit. I used 3 lbs of ground turkey and one chopped onion. I served them on whole wheat mini potato rolls. My family called them white castle addictive.

Great with chicken breast or ground chicken. Needs water chestnuts and thai chili sauce for that extra kick! We like it with iceberg lettuce the best.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
These are the only chocolate chip cookie I am allowed to make. I do follow the suggestions of adding 2T of vanilla extract and equal parts baking soda and powder. I have made them without it and they are much better with these changes. Thanks
