Everything the 5 stars rating reviews promised and more. I really think think is the best bundt cake I have ever made. The outside is firm, not crispy, hard or burned and the inside was cooked perfectly after 1.5 hrs. Great with a little powdered sugar.

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
Moist, taste and easy to make, but more of an apple cake than a coffee cake. I made mine topped with pecans.

Spaetzle I

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2008
Excellent, but only 4 stars because there is no way this dough was going through a colander(I tried 5 different ones). I used a garlic press. I would love to know to get it through the stainer, even the grater didn't work for me. I guess i hae to get that spaetzle press. There was a ton dough, I only made half which filled up a large bowl. I did let the dough rest for a few hours and used a combo of water and milk, and added nut meg. Once the water was really boiling the pasta floated almost instantly.

Mozzarella Meat Loaf

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
This was a lot of fun to make. I used turkey instead of beef and added spinach instead of mushrooms. Best meatloaf I have ever made. Will make again! Thanks for the recipe.

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
Lots of fun to work with, can be time consuming and cakes covered with fondant do not refrigerate well. Leaving the fondant white, is also hard because you tens to be able to see the cake through the fondant.

Crispy Barbequed Tofu Slices

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
We loved this! But you do have to bake the tofu first as another reviewer suggested, otherwise your tofu will not be crispy.

Oma's Fabulous Matzo Ball Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2008
Very good. Makes lots of balls. I froze more than half of them. I thought I had my mixture wrong, because the balls did not float right away. Give them a few minutes, they floated for me.

Even family who doesn't like like pumpkin, took home a half dozen muffins. Made 32 for me. My husband doesn't like cloves so if you fall in that category, leave it out. I like it with it.

Potato Curry

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
Excellent, You need Ghee, But I found this on how to make it How to make Ghee At Home Pure unsalted Butter (not margarine) 1. Heat butter in a saucepan in high-medium heat until it boils or bubbles. 2. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook uncovered until butter turns to a clear golden color. (Butter usually begins to boils with lots of bubbles. When it is done, it will have foams on top of it indicating that ghee is nearly done.) 3. Cool it and store it in dry container. Use ghee in you regular cooking. I added I can of rinsed chickpeas/garbanzo beans and served it with whole wheat naan, this is how a local indian restaurant we go to has served it. Also its took me no more the 30 minutes from start to finish with clean up. Be careful the yellow colored sauce tends to stain things.
