Cosmopolitan with Grand Marnier®

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
best I've found so far, ran out of triple sec though... Also I used regular vodka because I also like traditional martini's, but I imagine I'd like it better with the citron. i used gran gala which is compared to grand marnier, although I've never had the fancy stuff so i cant say which is better. the rest the kept the same. thanks for the recipe the amounts were perfect and also easy to remember which makes me happy :)

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
good and simple. I've never used garlic oil instead of egg when breading chicken, I heated the olive oil and garlic in the microwave a little so the flavors could blend. is this a well known alternative I've just never known about?. I've made this twice second time I used it as a sort of chicken parm dish with red sauce, I think I like it this way better than my actual chicken parm recipe.

Fish Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2009
this review is really for the sauce which is excellent. I've made the sauce for fish tacos ...i don't know how many times, now i use 3 parts yogurt 1 part mayo without noticing much of a difference. one day I will fry my own fish but for now I'll use pan fried, baked, and yes even fish sticks. thanks for the recipe.

Thai Chicken with Basil Stir Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
very good, i didn't have low sodium soy sauce so i used 2 1/2 tbs and only used 1 tbs fish sauce and it was still way to salty. next time i'll make this with the low sodium soy sauce.

really good but a little bit too much mustard for me. I'll try it again with an extra cup of kale.

Kale and Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
this was so good the only thing i changed was the soy milk, i used vanilla rice milk because thats what i had. this is very similar to the green smoothies my mom makes. she uses 1/4 soaked date per serving as a sweetener, i think i might try that next time to eliminate some calories. i didn't think my 3 yr old would like it because of the flax seeds but he drank it right down.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
Best oatmeal raisin cookies I've had in a long time. My tsp's of cinnamon and cloves were heaping, and I used all butter because that's what I had, but other than that I followed the original recipe.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
wow this was really good, my 3 yr old drank all of his right away while simultaneously saying mmmmm and an occasional yummy. I'll be making this often. the only changes i made were to use vanilla rice milk and i didn't add sugar or the vanilla. i also ground up half the oats before adding. thanks for the great recipe:)

Lots O'Veggies Sausage Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
i loved this! had to use turky italian style sausage and omit the ground beef, but kept it the same otherwise. i could eat the sauce by itself it was so good. my 3 year old didn't eat it, i think maby the sausage was too spicy for him.

very good. i make this about once a week because its so easy. i had to modify this for a stir fry since i don't have a grill. but i kept the ingredients for the marinade(/stir-fry sauce) the same. i also added other veggies ...more peppers, mushrooms, whatever.

Garlic Spinach Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
wow, yum. the only thing i changed was to use olive oil instead of butter because i didn't have any. these where awsome! my 3 year old ate 4 and wanted more. he even refused to eat his chicken in favor of the spinach balls. i will make these often. staple ingredients and simple enough to put together.
