Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Excellent soup/chowder. Substituted leeks for onions and garlic, cut bacon in half, added evaporated milk for the cream. This is just what I had and it was excellent. I did not puree. Thanks very much!!!

Mother's Applesauce Cake

Truthfully, I wasn't expecting much from this cake....but, oh my, was I surprised! This is my daughter's new favorite cake - stating....I could eatt his all day long! She's 12, and picky! It was super! Thank you very much! (added 2 cups fresh apples)

Fish Tacos

The best dinner I have had in years!! There is nothing better -everyone loves these in my family! Didn't use capers (not really sure what that would have added - sauce excellent!

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Cranberry-Pumpkin Cookies

Excellent! Didn't have orange zest - still awesome! thanks, I am now on my 4th one.....Also used completely whole wheat floiur - couldn't even tell - GREAT!!
