Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2013
We LOVE this recipe! because of other reviews we added a bit more flavouring like big pinch of dill and some veggie bouillon. We also used crushed buttery crackers instead of breadcrumbs. There was NONE leftover at the end of the meal. Will definitely be making again!

Veronica's Apple Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2013
LOVED it!! They look a little rubbery, and they're a tad greasy(don't need to use anything in the pan!)...BUT THEY'RE SOOOO TASTY!! Everyone gobbled them up! My daughter had applesauce on hers and loved it, the rest of us stuck with real maple syrup! Great recipe!

Lemon Zucchini Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2013
This would have been a GREAT recipe if I hadn't left it in the oven for 45 minutes(in a 9x13) as stated. My own fault though, I should have paid more attention. Now I have NO lemon bars.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2012
This is my new fave lazy cabbage roll casserole recipe! Even my hubby who 'doesn't like' cabbage LOVED it! The only change i made was boiling the cabbage a bit before assembling the casserole.

Cherry Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
This recipe DIDN'T work out for me, the brownie needed to be baked significantly longer than 12 mins...i took it out at 12 and the middle section was still GOOP therefore "ruining" the final cheesecake...not impressed. Other than that though, it was tasty!

Anzac Biscuits I

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
WOW! I had some Aussies in town to visit and wanted to make them something to feel at home...so i made these. GOOD CHOICE! They said that they tasted JUST LIKE at home! and ate many. Soooo easy to make too, and sooooo yummy!!!! I used the white corn syrup instead of "golden syrup" as we don't have that here. (it's a syrup made of cane sugar).

Salmon Loaf

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
This was a good recipe, but a tad bland, and that was after i added extra stuff to it like onions, garlic, mrs dash, etc... But it held together really well, was quick to make, and the hubby and kids ate it up!

Soft Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
I should have read ALL the reviews apparently. I made them as the recipe said, and they are ok if you are in dire need of a cookie. But as for this recipe, i will not be making it again. There was WAY TOO MUCH flour in this. The first batch was dry and crumbly...and the 2nd batch i added some water too to hopefully salvage it, and it was better but not by much. There are MUCH better recipes out there for PB cookies!

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
These were gobbled up quite quickly at my house. They were fantastic! but a bit too sweet for my liking. I don't think that i will make them again, even though my hubby raved about them! Just way too much sugar.
