About this Cook
I am a wife and mother of 17years old boy. My husband work in the oil company. During my free hour I always make an experiment with cooking and baking. I love to see the BBC food channel and read this websites during my free time. I took many cooking lessons everywhere inside or outside my country. Still looking forward to attend more cooking lesson.
My favorite things to cook
Cooking or baking for a party, not quite very big but around 50 to 100 persons party is enjoyable. I can arrange the menu, specially with a many style.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family love Dutch menu, but I love Italian. Sometimes I mix the two style into one meal. That can match for everybody. Now we love Indian or Gulf cuisine cooked with Indonesian style. It seems OK.
My cooking triumphs
I had a catering business in Bontang for 13 years before I moved to Abu Dhabi recently. My catering was cooking meals for 20 family for everyday lunch, also catered for parties and functions. In the big event, like Moslem Big Day I used to bake many cakes ( around 40 to 60 cakes for 2 days delivery) especially black forest cake and tiramisu.
My cooking tragedies
First time I learned to bake a fruit cake, I used the traditional oven so I don't know what is the precise the temperature ,later I found my cake already brown outside and the inside still running.

As you know there is 2 kind of pandan leaves , the one only has fragrance called just "pandan leaves" and the other one is called "SUJI Pandan leaves" this one only used for natural food coloring. What I made is mix this 2 kind of pandan leaves makes the syrup more attractive. Crush the pandan leaves and mince 2 suji pandan and cook with water and sugar for 15 minutes, you wont believe the result.
