Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
We really liked this, but next time I would make it with only one can of the tomatoes with green chilies and one can of regular diced tomatoes.

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2008
I'm only giving this for several reasons. First of all I am sorry but I have had way better banana bread. Mine came out a bit dry....I have had banana bread come out a lot moister. And its sweet. I mean it has good taste overall, but I just cannot see myself making this one again when I know there are better recipes out there.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
Wow!!! I would give this more than a 5 star if I could!!! Everyone loved it. Even my 2 year old boy devoured it, and lately its been hard to get him to eat anything lately but he sure loved this. I made this with mashed potatoes, country gravy, and peas....YUMMO!!!!!It reminded me of a meal that cracker barrel would make. I made this exactly as instructed. This is definately a keeper in my house!!

Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
At first I was a little leary about this recipe. I thought soya sauce and onion soup mix and thats it?? Then the cooking time also. But I took the plunge anyways. My husband is having a potluck lunch at his work today so I decided to make this. I have not been feeling to well this past few days so this was nice and easy. Put it on yesterday morning at about 10am, and took it out this morning at 7am and shredded it. Well OMG this is like pure heaven!!!! I told my hubby to come here and gave him a bit and he was salvitating over it lol. He LOVED it. We even tried a small piece last night and our 2 year old boy...who is VERY picky by the way wanted a bite and he loved it. He got mad when he couldn't have more lol. So I am sure he will be happy when he sees mama saved him a little bit :D This was definately added under my favorites section and as soon as I get my printer fixed I will be printing it off and putting it in with my absolute favorite recipes. I doubled the meat so I also doubled the onion soup mix and soya sauce. Thanks so much for the awesome recipe, and this will definately be made again here!! Can't wait to see what my hubbys co-workers think of it!!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: May 24, 2008
I have tried other recipes for homemade pancakes. The last one the batter was really thick. My now 2 year old boy wouldn't even touch them and he loves his pancakes. I wanted to make pancakes this morning so I came to allrecipes and looked up pancake recipes and came across this one. Well no need to look for another pancake recipe!!!! These were absolutely wonderful!!! My 2 year old had already had cereal for his breakfast but I thought I would give him a pancake anyways.....well he ate the whole thing!!!! My oldest girl who is 8 ate 3 of them, and my youngest girl who is 7 at SIX whole pancakes!!! I don't know who it was but someone rated these a 1 and said they have no flavor well I thought these had plenty enough flavor. My husband loved them. He said they were very fluffy. This is added to my favorites now and I will make these over and over again.!! Thanks for the awesome recipe :)

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: May 4, 2008
I have to say that with all the positive ratings for this, that I was a bit dissappointed with this. One of my favorite dishes is fettuchini alfredo. I made this tonight. First of all took a lot of work...which I didn't mind, but the end result was that the italian seasoning over ruled all the other flavors so much that, that's all you could taste was the italian seasoning. I did love how thick and creamy it was, I just wish it had better results. I would probably make the sauce again, but will NOT make the chicken part as it was just wayyyyyyy to much. Thanks anyways though!!

I loved the flavor of this chicken, but like one of the other viewers mine came out a bit soggy. I will definately make this again though but next time maybe try frying it a few minutes first. It tastes awesome though!!! :D

Mexican Rice II

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2008
This was good but I wouldn't say it was a favorite of mine. I also think instead of garlic salt I would use garlic powder as I found it pretty salty. Overall it was good and I would make it again with a few changes next time.

Cola Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2008
We really didn't care for these burgers at all. We all love hamburgers here, and even my hubby said these burgers were bland. I also noticed they fell apart quite easliy while cooking. Sorry but I don't think i'll make these again.

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2008
We LOVED this. I didn't like the sauce by itself but when put on the meat it was awesome. Hubby also loved it on his rice. I did do a couple things different though. I took some of the other peoples advice and doubled the spices. Then I put the meat in tinfoil and put it in my roaster with some water on the bottom. Turned out very moist!! Some people on here mentioned they used balsamic...so I tried it and yuck. My advice follow the original for the sauce.

Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
Ok I am giving this one star because I made it as the directions were and we did not like it at all and had to add several things to it to make it taste good. Before we added things it was terribly bland. So this is what we did. Make it according to directions then add: 1 pkg dry onion soup mix 3 beef bouillion cubes garlic powder 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce. After we did this it tastes pretty good.

Teriyaki Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2007
I can't say enough about these burgers. If you love teriyaki then you will LOVE these burgers!!! I am not even a big teriyaki fan and I love them. My hubby says they are one of the best burgers he's ever had!! UPDATE!! I hadn't made these burgers in ages and made them again tonight. Still oh so good!!!! For those of you that dont like these maybe its the teriyaki you are using. I have always used KC masterpiece honey teriyaki. you can find it in the aisle by the bbq sauce. i usually add in some oats to and a tad bit more teriyaki. Thanks so much again for this to die for recipe!!

Classic Stuffed Turkey

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2007
This stuffing had awesome flavor!!! I did make a mistake though. I used bread and sliced it up myself and used the same amounts...mine came out soggy lol, but now I know better. Next time I think I will either make it with bread again and use less liquid or use the half french bread and half sour dough like another user did.....either way this is definately a keeper in my house. I haven't had a wonderful stuffing like this in years!!!
