Old School Mac n' Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2012
Halved the recipe to make one 9X13 in pan. Very good, but will use more cheddar than American cheese next time.

Hot Italian Sausage

Made a smaller version (5lbs) of this. Doubled the spices to make it fit our tastes. Very yummy! I use these in several recipes. Thanks!

Italian Style Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2007
I loved this recipe! It gave a nice twist on the same old chili recipe. Also, my son - who is 10 - usually doesn't want to eat the regular chili, but gobbles this up. I did enter this in a contest (there were 25 other contestants) and everyone, especially the kids, loved it. Thanks!

Crown Roast of Pork with Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
Very juicy and tasty. I did make a few changes. I seasoned the outside of the crown with some Ms. Dash, used white wine instead of vermouth, and used 2.25 oz dry pine nuts, which I roasted, instead of the ones called for in the recipe. This is now replacing our traditional Christmas dinner!

Japanese Ginger Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
Love it, but did add a few changes per other readers. Added rice vinegar and a little sugar. I let it sit overnight. All of my guests raved about it. I had to put out more salad so they could all have seconds, eve the one person that didn't normally use dressings on her salad had more. Will make again!

Speedy Homemade Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2007
I loved this recipe, however since my family isn't too fond of onions, I cut that part in half. I also added more jalapenos. We like it hot! THanks for the recipe...

Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
Only gave it 4 stars b/c I didn't follow the recipe exactly. Didn't add the extra salt or lemon juice. Increased the garlic. Added fresh spinach near the end. Served with left over spaghetti noodles and garlic cheese biscuits. Will make again. YUM! Thanks for sharing.

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
Loved this recipe and will make it again. I did make some changes per others comments. Here they are... used an extra 1/2 c. of parm. cheese and added 1/2 c. sour cream. Also, I used 3 large, fresh jalapenos instead of canned. May add more next time b/c I like more kick. I mixed everything the night before then baked it about 45 minutes the next day. YUM! Thanks for sharing.

The Best Chicken Fried Steak

I don't usually fry things, but had a hankering. Very easy and yummy. Only change was that I didn't have buttermilk and used skim.

Easy Pavlova

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2008
Everyone absolutely loved this! I didn't use parchment paper, I just put some corn starch on my silpat and it worked great. I have made it using just strawberries, kiwi and reapberries. Will maybe try chocolate and caramel next. Great recipe!

Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
When I first told my hubby that I was going to make this, he did not look pleased. He said he didn't like pumpkin bread. I used a cushaw pumpkin puree that I had made and it turned out great. The hubby really enjoyed it and so did the group I shared it with. Although it made more than I had anticipated... I had no leftovers. Will definitely make again.

Oven-Fried Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2013
Made this a bit differently. Used half bread crumbs and half flour. Seasoned and browned in pan (b/c I had time) then stuck in oven for a small bit. Made a gravy to make it "more southern". Great basic recipe. Will make again. Thanks for sharing!

Italian Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
I changed this quite a bit, but it was great and was gobbled down. Instead of red pepper, I used cherry tomatoes. I added sliced black olives, cubed mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, salt and fresh pepper. May try adding pepperoni/salami. Will make again Thanks for sharing!

Cheesy Italian Tortellini

I doubled the recipe (made for a large goup) and omitted the cheddar cheese and everyone ate it up. No leftovers! Also, I didn't cook it as long as stated. Will make again.

RamJam Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2007
Oh my goodness! These were so moist and tender. Very flavorful. The only things I changed (b/c it was what I had on hand) was rice vinegar in place of the wine and 1/4 tsp dry ginger instead of the fresh. Served with lightly buttered white rice, mixed veggies and a salad. Will definitely make again.

Rubbed and Grilled Pork Loin

Reviewed: May 26, 2014
Just finished eating this... it was great! I used Cajun seasoning instead of chili powder, let it sit about 20 minutes before putting it on a preheated grill. I had a 3 1/2 lb roast so I only did 8 minutes each side to sear it nicely then moved it to the side for 20 minutes before rotating it (not turning over) for another 20 minutes. Let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing. Very flavorful and juicy. Will make again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2014
Made this, but did make changes. Only used Mozz. cheese as that is all I had on hand. Had and used frozen pizza/marinara sauce from different places (call me thrifty) and added more seasonings, which is the norm.No fresh herbs today. Pretty much followed the directions and served with cheese ravioli and salad. Will probably make again as the family really liked it. Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2013
Doubled the recipe for 2 pork loins. Would not double the oil next time. Turned out great! Seasoned (with spiced pepper) and used the sauce for flavor since others said it was bland. Will make again. Yum!
