Quinoa Tabbouleh

This is a good base recipe. Obviously salt and pepper to taste. I added some grilled chicken and feta cheese. I also added cumin and cooked my quinoa in chicken broth with sauteed onion and garlic. Without my additions it would have been quite bland I think.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This is a great starter recipe! Clearly people that think it's bland don't really cook all that much. You need to be to flavor to taste. Some like a thicker soup (like me) I added a little more flour. If you like it thinner then add some stock or have to be able to play a little. I of course sauteed the onions with garlic and little butter and olive oil before throwing the ham and potatoes in...the flavors really blend well by sauteeing for a few minutes. Then just do your thing.
