I have been making these for years, they are great. Perfect mix of crunchy, salty & sweet. My kids love them. Part of our Christmas candies every year.

Pita Chips

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
These are very good. I did not have any chervil, but they were still very good. My family couldn't stop eating them, I served them with spinach & artichoke dip. Will make again.

Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
This was very good & juicy. The only thing I added was garlic (our family likes garlic) & I used an entire sleeve of crackers. Will add this to the rotation :) thanks for the recipe.

Candy Bar Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
My family loved this fudge, I myself thought the flavor was good but it was to sweet (then I'm not a big fan of fudge either). I will make this again but next time I may cut back on the sugar. I chopped the peanuts & used a whole bag of carmels.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
This was very good. The spinach was a bit overpowering in my option. Next time I will reduce to half the spinach. (I'm not big on spinach) but I did like this recipe.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
This was very good, I did however make a few slight modifications(based one my families likes). First, bake the bottom crust for 10 minutes. I used leftover turkey, I added minced garlic, diced potatoes & poultry seasoning. I will in the future add the veg. mixture to the sauce as others suggested prior to putting in the pie crust. My family loved it.

Very good, I made these for Thanksgiving dinner, turned out great. My family loved them. My husband told me these would make a perfect apple crisp. I would have to agree. Will make these again.

Hazelnut-Mushroom Pilaf

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
Great recipe. Served this with & went very well with the "Anniversary Chicken I" (from this website) & broccoli/cheese. This pilaf had a wonderful flavor. I will add a TBSP of minced garlic next time as our family loves garlic.

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
If I could give this more *'s I would. My entire family ranted & raved about how great this was hours after dinner. I followed the recipe exactly. The only thing I did differently was I added the cheese & bacon during the last ten minutes of baking. (didn't want cheese to burn/blacken) This is a must try. Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe. I think this would be good on butterfly pork chops too.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2007
WONDERFUL!! My kids have told me this needs to go on the list of goodies we make for Christmas goodies. Great way to get rid of over ripened banana's. Will make this year round; by far the best banana nut bread I have made. Thank you for sharing the recipe. :)

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
I made these for food day at work. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of adding additional raisins (we like a lot of raisins in our cookies) They turned out wonderfully. My son would have eaten all of them if I would let him. This will definately be our families oatmeal cookie recipe. Made the whole house smell great.

Antipasto Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
These are perfect for Sunday game day, there is a lot of meat/cheese to these. They are alot like a hot pocket but much better :) The only thing I changed was that I used smoked turkey instead of ham. Strongly suggest letting them set for at least 10-15 min. before cutting. The whole family loved them, my husband & son both said it needed more meat but they love extra meat, I will definately add more turkey to the next batch. This recipe can be very versatile by just changing the meats & cheeses. Definitely a keeper in our house.

Bourbon Whiskey BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
I am not a big fan of BBQ, but this is a great sauce. I followed the recipe to the letter. (I used Jim Beam) Next time I will use less brown sugar only because it was a little sweet for me; but my family who loves BBQ liked it the way it was. The flavor is much better after a few days. I doubled the batch and canned the remaining sauce. I will definately be making this again. Thanks for the recipe. ****Needed something quick for dinner, I used this BBQ sauce to make sloppy joe, added bell pepper to the hamberger and poured in the BBQ, kids thought it was the best sloppy joe they had.****

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
I have never cocked a whole chicken in the crock before. I have made this twice. The first time exactly as the recipe called: came out moist but not a lot of flavor. The second time I doctored up my chicken the same way I do my turkey on Thanksgiving. Came out wonderful and the entire house smelled as if it were Thanksgiving. I placed the chicken on top of potatoes, carrots & added 2 cups of chicken broth. After removing the chicken & vegetables from the crock pot, I added 1 C white wine & flour to the juice for mouth watering gravey. Everyone loved it. I love the ease of a crock pot for a great meal when we are constantly on the run.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
These are so light & fluffy. Very filling. I followed the recipes exactly with the exception that I added 1 tsp of vanilla. (but I always add vanilla to the store bought kind) I will definately not be buying store box mix anymore. Why would anyone when these are so much better and take no time at all to make.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
Wonderful!! My daughter loved this recipe. She kept eating spoonfuls right out of the bowl as I was frosting cinnamon rolls. Very creamy and not to sweet. Can't wait to try this frosting on carrot cake. Thanks for the recipe.

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
This was my first attempt at homemade rolls. They turned out great. I did add 1 tablespoon cinnamon to the dough mixture only because I like a lot of cinnamon. I used cream cream frosting II (from this web site) to top them. My daughters loved them.
