About this Cook
I am the mother of three kids, 13, 8, and 5. The oldest is very picky as is my DH. I love trying new recipes out, but I can't tell my DH or DS that it is new or they will not touch it. Most of the recipes I choose are by the rating so I know they will not complain after they taste it. It works rather well. I love Allrecipes!
My favorite things to cook
I love to BAKE... anything gooey, sweet, and delicious!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cookies at Christmas with the kids.
My cooking triumphs
Salmon from Allrecipes which every person who has tasted it has asked for the recipe. Ginger Salmon!
My cooking tragedies
Curry Chicken. I boiled the Chicken and when I mixed it with the cinnamon curry sauce, it sucked all the moisture out of your mouth. My husband refuses to try anything curry again thinking that had to be what was so bad. Sadly that was a McDonalds night.

Norwegian Fruit Soup
We tried this with stawberries, apples, and raisons since we did not have the cherries or raspberries. My son loves soup and fruit... now he likes them together! Did not use whip cream... it was very sweet with the strawberries... we did add a pinch of sea salt before serving instead. I am not sure if this could still be the same recipe, but it was very tasty.
