Barbie's Tuna Salad

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
Loved this because it's so different than what I'm used to. Yes, it's a little runnier than the normal tuna salad, but I think that is because of the sweet relish. It's versatile recipe though. My husband put a scoop on a sandwich, I put scoop on a bed of spinach, and tomorrow we are going to mix it in with cooked pasta. One cook mix it in with rice. Yummy.

Stuffed Peppers My Way

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
Loved this recipe. Made it just as it was written. I think the stuffing is just as good without the feta as it is with it.

Oven-Baked Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: May 26, 2011
I so wanted to like this recipe. I made it exactly as stated except I cut the chicken into strips before marinating. I thought it was bland. A bit of sesame flavor come out, but also slightly chewy exterior from the sesame seeds. Chicken was juicy, but I can marinate chicken in buttermilk, dry it, sprinkle sesame seeds on it and get the same thing I would think without all of the other work, ingredients, dishes and cost.

Black Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
I used like others cilantro, lime and garlic with my dish. I served this with guacamole, whole wheat tortillas, and shrimp sauteed in butter and garlic.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Made as directed. Used 3.37 pounds of pork so I had to run out and get another bottle of BBQ sauce. I too used Sweet Baby Rays Sweet & Spicy.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
First time making quinoa. Great recipe. Not sure if it's supposed to be served cold or hot. I do think 2 cans of beans is appropriate vs. other reviewers cutting back to one. I agree with the reviewer below that adding tomato, advocado and a squirt of lemon would be good. Going to try that version next time.

My husband and DnD buddies loved these. I'm not a huge peanut butter cookie fan, but I can say that I love them too. (The dough alone is awesome!)

French Onion Soup Gratinee

It's good, but not for us. I wanted a more beefy saltiness flavor than winey sweetness.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
Good cookie. Made it as directed. However, I think the Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe posted by Joan is better. If you make that recipe without the chocolate chips, it's a peanut butter oatmeal cookie.
