Hi! I'm a 27 year old, happily married gal with a passion for true health! I am on a quest to find the foods that make me feel my very best and help me maintain a healthy weight. Mind you, I do not count calories, I do not watch fat content, I do not worry about carbohydrates, and I do not starve myself. It's all about making the right food choices. I went from being very underweight (through poor eating habits - yes it goes both ways), and then I shot up to gaining 40 lbs! In 2 years time with exercise and figuring out which foods hinder and which foods help, I've lost the extra weight and at a point I'm really happy with. I feel more vibrant and energetic at 27 than when I was 18. Food makes the difference.

I love making desserts that are interesting and surprisingly delicious. As well as Raw dishes.. so technically they aren't cooked ;).
My cooking triumphs
Learning to cook, period. I had no idea what I was doing when my husband and I first got married almost 5 years ago. And now I can cook just about anything *and* it turns out so good and everyone who tastes it is delighted. BIG deal for me.
My cooking tragedies
Attempting to toast some walnuts in the oven and forgot about them... until smoke started billowing from the oven and when I opened the door they were on fire! It was bad.
