This was great and so easy!! I have never made Chicken and Dumplings before now.. I had it once as a teenager when my best friends mom spent an entire day making it for us.. and as far as I can remember this was just as good if not better.
I used chicken breast halves on the bone.. boiled them in the water with a generous amount of garlic salt, salt, pepper, two chicken bouillon cubes, and an onion. Strained the broth, deboned the chicken and placed it back in the broth. I used less chicken so I used a little less broth,(Don't throw away leftover broth freeze it for a future recipe.) used only one can of cream of celery soup and 3/4 the amount of dumpling. It turned out great!! 5 stars!!
