Awesome.. didnt need tweeking at all! But after the first batch was gone.. I put some strawberry Daquri Mix in it.. and then cut up some fresh strawberries and threw in it.. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! We never buy the frozen stuff.. yeah.. this is a bit more expensive.. but tastes wayyyy better! When we are in a pinch we use lemon juice in a jar.. we also have replaced lemons with Lime Juice! Very tasty!

The Best Slow Cooker Cream Corn

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
This was pretty good. I will make a few changes to make it 5 star for my family. First I will double the corn, use a full cup of milk, and use 1/3 the amont of cream cheese. And I am not sure if it needs the extra cheese. I dont know yet. Also, I use fat free milk, fat free cream cheese to make it a little better for you. Thanks.. I thought I hated creamed corn. But what I found out I hate that that comes out of a can. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2008
I could make this a 5 star with my changes. (for my family anyway) I followed this recipe to a T. (except makeing it serving for 5. Next time I will use 1/3 of the amount of cream cheese, more milk and less butter. I also pepper it. I think I will leave out the cheese too. Other than that I so see where it could go. But it was also nice this way. Thanks! I will be making this for thanksgiving.

Fluffy Biscuit Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2008
Ok.. I must have done something horrbly wrong. I made these and had such high hopes, but they came out like mini rocks. The inside was nice and soft, but the outside was hard as ever, very crunchy. The kids loved them, but then again they are 2 and 4. I put a little butter and strawberry jelly on them and they went to town on them. So atleast they didnt go to waste! But I will not be making them again. I am giving them a 2 because my kids did enjoy them. But I am not sure if they enjoyed the "rocks" or the butter and jelly. So I will give the benifit of the doubt! Ill stick to the other recipe I found on here for fluffy biscuits. Thanks!

Turkey Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
I made a Sausage stuffing (sausage and stove top) and then home made mashed potatoes with lumps, and I had some frozen corn. I decided not to put the turkey in it since the Stuffing had sausage in it. I didnt have any gravy on hand so i just mixed it all together and then sprinkled cheddar on top. Mmmm great.. thanks for the idea!

Play Dough Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
Ok.. I was not sure how to rate this cookie. One thing I wish I knew Trisha's secret to making the awesome black and orange ones. I ended up making this recipe as called for, i scooped out the right amount for each cookie, then put it in the fridge for 20 minutes. THen I rolled them all into ropes (each color) then put them back into the fridge for 15 minutes. Then I took the orange rope, and black rope and spun them togehter and rolled them so they were combined. Then put them back into the fridge. And I could only bake 6 at a time because I only had so much room on my cookie sheet. So as I took them out of the fridge I stuck sticks into them. THey sure didnt look as nice as Trisha's... grr. Ok and about the taste. I read all of the posts about how they didnt taste very good. I thought they tasted just fine, and way sweet enough. I liked the cookie. Ok.. ill add a pictur tonight.

Jo Jo's Favorite Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
I almost followed this recipe to a T. But I used half a cup of sugar and half a cup of Strawberry Jam. Wow! Nice and moist, the kids are going to love these for breakfast in the morning! Nice, sweet, moist and yummy! Thanks. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I used 5 bananas because that is what I had to use up and I used a mini muffin pan and baked them for 12 minutes. Perfect!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
Ok.. first, I didnt follow the recipe really. I used Avocado instead of shortning. I also used half raisins, and half craisins. They turned out alright. Not to sweet because I used half the sugar and added applesauce. I am working on a "healthy cookie" So we will see. It was moist and chewy but didnt flatten. So i had to smush them down before i baked them.

Wonderful Banana Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2008
I give this 5 stars because this is soooo easy and very tasty. I used my Pampered Chef Mini Muffin Pan, and oh my goodness. Very very good and very quick! I am going to frost mine with Strawberry Cream Cheese (whipped) with a little powdered sugar and milk. So its not so sweet. I cant wait to give them to the kids tomorrow after lunch. They are going to be thrilled. Thanks a bunch. Oh I also added 3 bananas, cinnamon and vanilla. I had French Vanilla cake mix, so I used that. Wonderful! Thanks. I cant wait to try other kinds of cake mix with it. Chocolate, Strawberry.. oh the list goes on and on. THanks!~ Oh I bet a pineapple upside down cake would be wonderful with banana's in it. Niiice!

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
Ok, I did change some things like other reviewers did. I used milk instead of water, I added 8oz of cheddar cheese, and also added the garlic powder and parsley to the batter, and also on top. I forgot the salt.. oops. And I didnt have any onion powder so I used onion flakes. It did feel a little doughy to me in the middle, but the flavor was nice. I think next time I will add minced garlic also. Plus salt and onion powder. The kids (4yrs & 2yrs`) loved them. And they dont like anything. Thanks!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
These were an okay cookie. I wont be making them again. I have found out that I like a "chewy" chocolate chip cookie. So this didnt come close. This came out more cakelike for me. The only thing I did diferently was I only added 1 cup chocolate chips. I wanted to love this recipe so much, because I thought that pudding mix added to a cookie recipe would be wonderful. Oh well. Not for me. Thanks anyway.

Strawberry-Nut Pinwheel Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
This is a nice cookie, its not too sweet, its very hard to work with. I left the rolled dough in the fridge over night, and then was easier to cut. But rolling it was very hard. I was glad I rolled it out on wax paper so I could have the wax paper help me roll it tight. Thanks again, this will be a recipe I will use for christmas time. I will also use mint jelly for the nice red and green .. not together mind you!

Seven Layer Gelatin Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
We have been making this for years. The only difference is instead of evaporated milk we mix in coolwhip or icecream (for the cold water part. Makes a nice sweet creamy jello! Hope that helps those of you who dont like the evaporated milk idea.
