Apricot Cream Cheese Thumbprints

Totally awesome cookies! The cream cheese makes them special. I made one change. Instead of lemon zest I added 1 teaspoon of almond extract. Definitely roll in powdered sugar prior to adding preserves to thumbprint-gives a little more sweetness. Thanks for a great recipe!

Never-Ever-Fail Meringue

Thank you for this wonderful and easy recipe.This is my first time making meringue-easier than I thought!Came out great. I used it on top of a key lime pie recipe-big hit with everyone!

Emma's Belgian Waffles

WOW-EXCELLENT!Followed recipe exactly and came out perfect. Very light and fluffy. I did add a little cinnamon but this is a basic recipe so I am sure any extras you want to try would taste wonderful. Taste great next day warmed in the toaster oven-crispier. One problem-husband and son loved soooo much, I can never make the boxed mixture again-nor do I want to! Thanks Emma for the great recipe!!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Excellent recipe!This was my first time cooking a whole roasted chicken. It was so moist and juicy-just fell off the bone. My only change was adding half a can of chicken broth. Definitely a keeper! Give it a try!

Maple Banana Bread

I tried this recipe for a different spin on the banana bread I usually bake. What a disappointment! This bread was dry and tasteless. I'll gladly go back to my original banana bread!

Ricotta Cheese Pancakes

I did not care for these. These pancakes came out very flat with a rubbery texture. I prefer the the old fashioned, fluffy buttermilk pancakes.

Raspberry Buttermilk Muffins

Like the previous reviewers, I also added an extra egg. Then, reading they were not sweet enough, I used 1 cup of sugar instead of 1/2 cup. Also I added 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. They came out absolutely delicious! VERY moist and sweet enough. Highly recommended!
