About this Cook
I work full time and I volunteer at the local Zoo so my spare time is precious to me. I love finding recipies that taste like you spent hours preparing them when you only have spent minutes
My favorite things to cook
I love making comfy food for a crowd.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making 'sticky buns' on Christmas Eve. And watching my father cook massive extended family dinners with every sauce, gravy, and comfy food he could think of.
My cooking triumphs
I can make cinnamon buns that would make the angels cry.
My cooking tragedies
Believe it or not...I can't make jello set up right to save my life and I've stopped trying to make gravy.

Grandmas Cowboy Cookies
These are addictive! After reading some of the reviews I did make a few slight changes. I left out the coconut and nuts and used one cup of chocolate chips and one cup of peanut butter chips. I also used a cup of real salted butter and half a cup of butter flavored shortening instead of the half butter/half shortening. I sent my guy to his job the next morning with 4 dozen cookies and he came home with an empty container. The recipe makes a lot of cookies!

Cream Cheese Squares
I made the recipe as written and they are addicting. The only modification I would probably make would be to cut down on the butter in the final step of the recipe.

Salted Caramel Marshmallow Crispy Treats (Gluten Free)
Believe the star on this one. Made it for a Superbowl party and it was a huge hit. The only change I made was that I used regular sea salt instead of flaked but it was perfectly fine with the listed measurements.
