Delicious! I baked for 35 mins at 350. So tender and moist!!! I liked someones suggestion of topping it with Sauted Mushrooms....I had some on hand, it I sauted them with a little bit of the basting sauce and it was as if they were meant to be!

Lemon Pepper Green Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
Yum. Came to this website tonight to find a way to flavor up our frozen green beans. This was on the front page.... My 11 y.o. son did most of it, the only changes we made were that we used frozen green beans, I added garlic to the butter and didn't use 2 tsps of lemon pepper...used about 1 tsp. The whole family loved them.

We don't like onions so substituted a little bit of garlic instead. Didn't do mushrooms or chives, but these were delicious!!!

Groovy Green Smoothie

What a great way to get fresh spinach into the whole family. The 1st time we made it I didn't want the kids to know it was spinach, so I set out some green food coloring next to the blender and told them that I just wanted to change the color for the month of March! Then when they found out it was spinach they were kind of mad, but they still drank it all. We add whatever fruit we have on hand. Mangoes work well because they are so sweet. I also added some Flax Seed and some dehydrated milk....bananas, apples....whatever we have on hand. Also added some skim milk to thin it out a bit, and ice to get it super cold, and have added honey when the fruit isn't sweet enough. Who would have ever thought that the spinach wouldn't over take the taste... So excited that I can get spinach into my kids this way! Thanks!!!

Beef Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
Delicious!!! Would season the meat next time, and maybe use chicken or shredded beef instead. Flour Tortillas were fine, I'd try it with corn, but hubby doesn't like corn. We doubled the amount of cheese, we like em' cheesy! Had lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream on top! Oh, and we don't like onions, so we used a tad bit of garlic when browning the meat, but still will need more flavor next time! And there definitely will be a next time!

These are the best waffles ever. They are super moist. We usually use vanilla yogurt, but have used whatever yogurt we have on hand, i.e. peach, strawberry, etc. A family favorite for sure!!!

Mom's Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2007
Way too Bizarre! I made this last night and my kids asked for seconds. I have always liked brussels sprouts, but when I found this recipe for adding brown sugar, I thought it might give me a shot at getting my kids to eat them...So happy I found this recipe! Very easy, and yummy. We all really loved the walnuts too....we were fighting for them at the end of the bowl!
