I followed this one as closely as I could, and it turned out great! I'll make a few tiny adjustments next time just to suit my taste, but this is a good solid recipe. Thanks y'all!

No-Cream Pasta Primavera

Surprisingly good! I'm cooking for my Vegan father in law this week and I have to addmit that we both loved this. Just as good cold as it is hot. I also left out the balsamic vinegar but will try it the next time just to be sure.

Baked Stuffed Winter Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
Excellent recipe! I substituted bratwurst for the Italian sausage and I've regretted it. The dish ended up lacking in flavor. My error, nothing wrong with the recipe.

Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
This turned out just awesome! Prepared it exactly as the recipe directed with the only exception that I substituted 2 teaspoons of lemon juice in place of the salt. And all around hearty soup, very good for the coming cold weather. Five stars!

Strawberry Bread III

Really not impressed with this recipe. Not enough strawberryness, if you get my meaning. I haven't given it a second try yet. Maybe I will tweak it a bit.

Amish Bread

VERY nice. Very few ingredients with good results. Slightly sweet but not too sweet. Added some fresh rosemary to the second loaf and it was beautiful. This has become my standard white bread recipe.

VERY good. Did cut back on the soy. Made it for husband, husband ate it, husband loved it! 'Nuff said. 12.27.09 - Have to update this one. This is now a standard at my house. SO simple and versatile. I can make any meat Mongolian now! This is the recipe I have been looking for for years.

Not bad. Sauce was not quite right. Not for me, anyway. Gonna tweak it a bit next time, but definitely a keeper.

Peanut Brittle

Wonderful!! I have always been afraid of making candy, but this recipe was SO easy. The trick is the hair thing. Trying to keep the hubby out of it as we speak, but I keep hearing that foil rustling in the kitchen every time I loose sight of him! Thanks for this recipe!

Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
Tasty. So very, very tasty. We ate this with glee and gusto. Only used 2 cans of biscuits as the stuff ran out. Also, will turn the pan over maybe 15 minutes into cooling next time as all the caramel ran to the top. But....tasty. So very, very tasty.

Yeah. These were awesome. Just got done eating them. I filled them with chocolate and coconut cream pudding. My husband and I took a bite, looked at each other, and began wandering about the kitchen, eating one after another. Awesome.

Awesome! A good, solid potato soup. And very easy as well. Will cut back on the basil and add a bit of celery just to suit my tastes a bit more. Thanks!
