Great recipe. Used 4 egg yolks instead and added 2 TB butter. Also, decreased sugar to 2/3 C.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2010
Good but not fantastic. Recipe was "missing" something. Per other reviews boiled first with cornstarch to thicken. Will not make 2nd time.

Chocolate Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
Excellent Chocolate Cream Pie, making a 2nd one today. Per others reviews increased cornstarch to 4 TB. Also, per my own tastes, I used 1 1/2 cups canned 2% milk along with 1 1/2 cups 2% milk.

This is a great tasting recipe. I only substituted the milk for canned milk and used real butter. Very flavorful!

Adobo Chicken with Ginger

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2008
I rated this a 5 but changed it a little...I used 8 chicken legs & 6 thighs (skin on). 1 cup garlic red wine vinegar, 3/4 cup soy sauce, 1/2 bulb garlic, 1 can chicken broth, 1/2 onion and the rest of the ingredients are the same as original recipe. I let this cook in the crockpot for 4 hours. I served this over Jasmine rice. The family could not get enough. Will make again!!

Heavenly Potatoes and Ham

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2008
Recipe was fantastic. Everyone loved it. I took some advice of previous reviews and altered it by doubling the ham and only using 2 1/2 lbs yukon gold potatoes along with using 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. Also used 1 1/2 lbs of cheddar cheese and garlic bread crumbs. I also did not cook the potatoes 1st, just let it cook all together in the oven.
