Beef Bourguignon II

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Wow!!! So impressive! We loved it, the meat was soooooo tender and tasty! I used burgundy cooking wine, and it was totally fine. Also used an extra onion, instead of the canned, and eliminated the mushrooms (yuck). Added more carrots, since it is the only way my family will eat veggies, and substituted 6 oz beef broth for the mushroom liquid. Cooked about 2 cups of wide egg noodles, and stirred them into the mixture for the last half hour. Will definitely make this again.... Thanks!

Pizza Casserole

WE LOVE THIS RECIPE! I upped the ground beef to 1 lb (liked it much better!) and did not use green pepper. Added some more sauce and mozzarella as well, and used Pampered Chef Garlic Garlic.. as well as 2 cloves of minced. Also replaced half and half for the milk.... Everyone loved, it, even better heated up the next day!

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
My whole family was disappointed with this recipe. I thought it was so blah... maybe too much flour?? (and I even cut it in HALF, along with the butter). I was so excited to make it, I really had high hopes. I even added some garlic, and some poultry seasoning in the end to try and liven it up! We added LOTS of pepper, and still didn't help. Maybe we will try again next year, with some modifications. :(

So good!! Loved it! Followed another fan's advice, and used marinated artichokes (actually bought them by accident!)... make sure they are SQUEEZED out and chopped up good! My family loved it, even my 10-year-old!

My family loved it! Used chicken stock instead of water... and cut up Pillsbury biscuits into the stew. It was so easy! Will definitely make again.

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
WOW!!! So easy and so tasty! I was a little skeptical, I even panicked since I made it for 4 lbs. of chicken... Then I thought I put way too much parmesan cheese. But it was perfect! I used about 1/2 Dijon mustard and 1/2 Dijonnaise. After I washed the chicken, I put it in a bowl with the dijon mixture to coat. Then I put in a pan and topped with the Teriyaki sauce, and crumbled 6 strips of bacon over it, then COVERED with Parmesan cheese (NOT sprinkled, covered!) I cooked it at 400 for 45 mins. Served with stuffing. I had no idea how much gravy/liquid it would produce (it was alot!)... so that went over the stuffing. YUMMY! We will definitely have it again and again; next time I will probably combine the Dijon and Teriyaki and have the chicken marinate a bit. Thanks, Aimee!!

Leftover Casserole

DON'T FORGET TO BOIL THE PASTA FIRST! I see this was a common mistake from other users... I liked this, it was perfect for leftover ham. I would probably make again with ham steaks. I too, did not add the veggies when I made it, served them on the side. Next time I will mix in. Make sure you use a giant size bowl to mix well before putting into a baking dish. The family liked it a lot, even my 7 yr old son...

Roasted Easter Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
I made this as described, but I left out the onion powder.. I used a 10 lb. butt portion ham, and put everything in an oven bag. It came out great! Moist, tender, and oh so flavorful! I will definitely use this recipe again.
